Uh oh - I think this thread is breaking Skinner's rules.  I believe they are criticizing the president who shall not be named.

I wonder if this thread will go down the memory hole soon.  Dare I say DUmmie girl gone mad almost sounds like a **gasp** conservative.

Top Economist James K. Galbraith's Withering Testimony to the Deficit Commission.

(Mods, this is public testimony, not subject to copyright)

James K. Galbraith, one of the most respected economists in the world, gave a statement to the Fiscal Commission yesterday on behalf of Americans for Democratic Action. Galbraith very clearly believes that the commission lacks both the expertise and the legitimacy to be making recommendations on which Congress will vote. The entire piece is well worth reading, but the concluding paragraph, in particular, is fairly devastating (emphasis added). The commission requested Galbraith's testimony.

The first rule breaker:

30. Whatever the answer is...

... one thing will be clear by the time the pom pom squad gets here: it isn't Obama's fault.

I believe the man HellHathNoFury is referring to is the president who shall not be named.

He's the one who is sticking the knife in our backs.

There are more rule breaking posts at the link - all with about the same message.

Apparently, dissent isn't such a bad thing when it's the DUmmies who are speaking. I wait to see what happens, if anything, with baited breath. :fuelfire:

45. Let's translate this for the gop lurkers...
We need to eliminate any bipartisan discussion in ANY matter of economics because the GOP has NO RATIONAL ECONOMIC ADVICE to give in the FIRST freakin' place!

Socialize the banks, repatriate the ill-gotten wealth of the republicanist billionaires, and tax the hell out of the rich, and we will NOT Have ANY problem whatsoever.

What is so hard about that?? Seriously...

I can't even answer this because I can't stop :lmao: at this comment!

73. IMPORTANT: Okay, did this really happen?
There is no evidence on C-SPAN or at the Commission site that Galbraith actually delivered this testimony to the Commission yesterday.

http://www.fiscalcommission.gov/meetings /

Furthermore, he's been organizing the counter-commission effort for months.

Did this really happen, or is this the testimony he would have delivered in person if allowed?

Can anyone find video or official confirmation?

Party Pooper!

Um....what bi-partisan discussion in any form, in any thread, in any sub forum or your worthless site? What you really mean is that you folks need to ban any bi-partisan discussion in ANY form, right? YEah. Thought so.

We won't have any problem whatsoever? How's that working out for the country thus far? I'm sure it's your utopia, but it sure as shit isn't anyone else's. IF you're reading this, I'm very vocal. Come on over.  :fuelfire:

Now where have I heard all this shit before? Oh that's right, every socialist country in South America, Cuba and Mexico! It's working out so good for them down there, that there is no middle class! Just high class livin' politicians, their donors, ( read bribers and lobbyists ), and the sheep they herd!

Rationing is certainly what these people have in mind! Along with telling us what we can eat, what we can drink, what we can smoke, (unless of course it is cannabis ), etc.......they want to tell us our money belongs to the family down the street that sits on their collective ass!

^ The saddest, and most infuriating thing I can think of at the moment is the fact that it's working.
