Broadcast veteran Larry King announced on Tuesday that he would be ending his nightly "Larry King Live" show on CNN this coming autumn after 25 years on television.
King, 76, said in a statement he would still host specials for CNN on major events, but wanted to spend more time with his wife and young children.

'bout damn time.
What "wife and kids"? I thought he was getting a divorce?

They reconciled I do believe. Wonder what or who will take his place.

I used to watch that show. It was funny, but it freaked me out. Kinda Twilight Zone-ish.

WELL, BYE!!!
-
I suppose he doesn't want to end up like Byrd and work up until his death.
CNN also announced a few days ago they will no longer get their info from the left slanted Associated Press....maybe they do see the writing on the wall and will go more centrist :uhsure:
-
CNN? Centrist?
Not a chance--more likely they'll get their "info" from Kos, Huffpo, Crooks and Liars, and FireDogLake. Look at who they have on now, with the likes of Blitzer, Rick Sanchez, Caffrey, "War Whore" Amanpour, etc...

I always had the impression in the infrequent times I had occasion to watch Larry's show that he had a broomstick stuck up his ass and that was the thing that was keeping him parked on his chair. Folded arms hunched over, leaning toward his
guest left-wing loonie.
And then the suspenders. :rotf:
-
bout time this convicted felon cadaver goes away. Sheeze, his interview "skills" are non-existent. Oh well, so now CNN is losing the only show that actually competed with FOXNEWS.
Can someone tell me how this fossil gets quality 'tang like he's gotten over the years?
