Pam, it really must have been killing you to post with correct spelling and punctuation anyway. Funny how the other posters whose threads get mentioned here didn't change their username. Just you.
Perhaps you shouldn't have posted so much personal information about yourself. Perhaps the stories you tell should have been toned down just a wee bit so it didn't scream for someone to make an example of it as the pure fabrication they all seem to be.

Why is it that your presence on another message board we both use -- one which could actually help you with your medical issues rather than stressing you out -- has faded to nil over the past 2+ months?
If you really want to leave here, then just leave, and stop it with this apparent attempt at a flame-out. Sorry the people at the hate site managed to put two plus two together, but looking at all the threads in question it's not as though you made it difficult for even them to accomplish this.
I really don't know what to tell you at this point, except that you need to start picking the battles that are worth fighting, and you really may want to review some of your priorities.
Good luck, and I hope you'll come back to the McD boards again because that's where I think you need to be. Not here. Not like this.

17. Let me throw something in on that note.
My dad was diagnosed with diverticulitis back in the early 90's, after being in serious pain for a while, and fearing the worst. After the diagnosis, he was told to avoid seeds and nuts of any kind, including any kind of corn. Not just popcorn. Couldn't eat iceberg lettuce either, for some reason. He ate this limited diet for years but ironically it was seeds that saved him. Specifically flax seed. Grinds the shit up every day and mixes it in with his orange juice. I don't know how the Hell he drinks it like that, but it works. He's been able to eat nuts and berries and stuff again for several years now, and at the age of 79, has no digestive issues that I'm aware of.
Not good advice at all! my Husband had a Diverticulitis attack about 5 years ago, a couple of years ago a study came out from Canada that said patients could eat corn, we mentioned the study to our Doctor and his response was "I'm going to have a lot of patients coming in with recurrent Diverticulitis then". Patients can go into a period where the disease is dormant, but all it takes is just 1 little kernel of corn getting stuck and that's it. You don't take chances with Diverticulitis, in my Husbands case I dragged him to the ER, he wanted to wait a couple of days to see the Doctor, if he had waited he could've lost 1/4 of his intestines. Thank God he hasn't had an attack since, but he avoids corn, nuts and drinks lots of water.

Yep! Hubby was also initially told to avoid tomatoes because of the seeds but it seems that some Doctors have said tomato seeds aren't a problem so he went back to eating tomatoes and he hasn't had a problem, but he has avoided the other things like corn and nuts which are 2 things he loved.

I had it a decade ago. Got the scar (36 staples) to prove it. Lost 10 inches of my colon in the process.
Oh, and while I avoid corn and SMALL seeds, nuts are fine as long as you chew them VERY well.

Wouldn't put it past them. I would think it kind of tedious, and boring to get all our IPs in an effort to do just that though. Or is there an easier way. I'm not very technically sound when it comes to computers.

Some friends and I had a small TV board and we had the ability to make it private and to see the board you had to register.

IP's are very easy to track. Used to not be a big deal when all we had was dial-up. Every time you dialed in you got a new IP.
Now though, with broadband and satellite you are assigned one when you connect and keep it as long as your modem is connected, which is 24/7.

Aren't there sites you can go to/downloads you can get to change your IP though? I don't know all the mod tracking tools that can be used, but I do know there a lot of hacking programs, and other nefarious stuff out there that's hard to follow. It would be for me anyway.

Sure! But most have no idea how to use them or just say **** it. It can be a pain in the arse, especially if you use more than one.
I used them for a while trying to keep moles over at SkimmerVille. It finally became just not worth my time. I have a different 'puter I use for that now and it's the only thing I use the connection for, heh! Let's see 'em figure that one out! I keep a real low profile.
