It's perfectly clear: GOP will ruin millions of Americans' lives
in hopes of regaining power, and some Dems in the Senate are perfectly willing to help them.
Do they have any idea what not funding unemployment will do to the small gains that have happened in the economy?
Paying people to not work/be productive via borrowed money is an economic gain?
Well, of course, they do. More suffering, more misery just in time for the fall elections and the GOP will happily pin it on the Dems.
The fact is that thousands ARE willing to take any kind of job. But, if you look at labor statistics, the thousands of jobs will do nothing to help the MILLIONS of people who are unemployed.
I read so many stories of people who got the education, who worked hard, who were responsible, did everything right and they have just been tossed aside as if their lives and efforts over the years are mean absolutely nothing.
And no one seems to give a damn and our elected leaders view our lives, our hopes, our dreams, our families as nothing more than political pawns.
That is why dems want you dependent on them DUmbass

During an average week of unemployment, I think I spent $10 on gas and $15 on food. Yeah, it's a boon to the economy.

There was a piece on the radio news (MSM). There was some sort of study/survey or something that said that those receiving unemployment were spending most of their time sleeping and watching TV. I would also guess that they're drinking heavily as well.
Meanwhile, I see help wanted signs all over the place. And this is NNY, where our economy never rebounded from the Great Depression.
A lurking DUmmie may see this and confirm that conservatives are hard-hearted bastards. But, we just can't afford to pay people to sit on their asses, most likely three sheets to the wind.

It does make you wonder doesn't it. I can hardly stand to sit half an hour at a work meeting, forget sitting around watching TV. Then that is why probably why I am still getting employment offers.
