My avatar changed back to what it was before my current Rebel Flag avatar, and I can't change it at all now. WHat's going on?

When we moved most of the files over, that was the avatar you had at the time.

San is saying he can't change his avatar. I'm experiencing the same. I flushed my dns, cleared cookes, deleted temporary files, logged out and back in, and got the same result. I've tried different files to upload as well.

I figured it was something like that, but why can't I change it now? Are we still in the process of changing? I'm pretty much computer illiterate.

Try to change it now, Sam.

I can change it between the avatars provided by the site, but I can't upload my own.

Well, as of 2:03 p.m. central time, 1:03 p.m. mountain time, it's still not letting me change my avatar.
I take avatars from my private collection on my own computer, under the file "My Pictures;" I never learned how to link an avatar from somewhere else.

Anyone else having this problem? I need to narrow down the problem. I uploaded my frog.

That's what I do. I can live with the Hurricanes flag, though.

Okay, it doesn't appear to be a glitch after all.
The other place has something in it that automatically re-sizes images to make them fit as avatars.
This particular program doesn't.
One has to reduce an image to 100x100 or less.
This is done by opening the image in Paint, and clicking on "image," and then "stretch/skew."
One has to guess what brings an image down to 100x100 or less.

www.irfanview.com has an image program I've used for years. It has a bunch of features I find useful playing with stuff and best of all it's small and it's FREE. :-)
