Most of the DUmmies say its our oil so they have no right to profit from it. Yet the oil companies are the ones who develop the technology to produce gas, and put up the money to do so. A sane person would agree that they are entitled to making a profit for doing this. Using the dummy logic bottled water should be nationalized too. After all the water belongs to us all yet the evil bottling companies are making a ton of dough.

Actually they already are regulated heavily. Guess that means the govt failed how do you like that dummy?

They are already "regulated" to the point that a federal inspector has to be present when a light bulb is changed....

I'll bet an inspector was present when the Deepwater Horizon rig blew....

How much more "regulation" do we REALLY need?

There's a story now that BP told the Feds that there was both oil and natural gas leaking around the Deepwater Horizon on February 13th of this year.  If that's proven to be true, there's gonna be some 'splainin' to do.
