A Southwest Airlines employee called police after finding 40 to 60 human heads in a package set to be transported to a Fort Worth medical research company, the airline said.
"It wasn't labeled or packaged properly," said Ashley Rogers, a Southwest spokeswoman. "They called the local authorities."

Some people are always losing their heads.

"It is a lucrative business. There is money to be made," Camper said.
Body parts. Yep. There ya go..... :rotf:
Uh...Alex? I'll take bladders for $40,000, please.
-
I'll bet someone nose the truth about this.
-
Sounds like the sequel to "Snakes on a Plane".
-
'Ears the deal. Body parts have to be shipped FedEx Ground.

Really? I don't see the 'arm in flying them long distances.

Preparing the parts is an (h)eart. Too many colons get flushed when the interns get hold of 'em.

Heads will roll for this.

Heads will roll for this.
They should do, this whole escapade has cost an arm an a leg in wasted money.

A box? I thought you used a duffle bag for transporting heads?

A box? I thought you used a duffle bag for transporting heads?
But you'd need 8 for this collection, much simpler to box them up. :-)
-
40 to 60 Heads in Duffel Bags is waaayyyy too long for a movie title anyway! :-)

So what the hell am I supposed to do with this luggage claim ticket now?

Don't know about you, but I think that this story has legs, myself . . .

Here is what really happend. I think my own opinion here.
A rinkey dink Funeral Parlor in Ark. has been making a bundle of money sending body parts to some business for years. The body parts were then sent off to a customer elsewhere.
In December the middleman lost their business license but had just one more order to send.
They had been using FedEx but decided to fly the body parts for some reason.
When the plane landed a few of the bagage handlers that made extra money stealing from the passengers luggage opened the package and freaked out to see heads.
The reason for the opening of the package is very suspect. If it were improperly packaged they would have called security and had the package EX-_RAYED by the bomb squad. Had the package been improperly packed it would not have been loaded on the plane in the first place.
As we have seen in the past and recently with the flap over Arlington and the remains of our Hero's anything is possible.
We have had some really gross things happen about 20 miles down the road in MA.
Worse then a chop and dice film. This county corner, a doctor was selling signed death certificates to Funeral Homes for the owners to fill out. Her signature on the papers was to attest she had seen the body and the cause of death. I wonder how many people were offed and the Funeral director put down heart attack on death certificate.??
Some how her little business got busted and one poor Funeral director got caught big time. The story in local papers was bone chilling of what was found on the property, body's in non running refrigerates and some stacked like cord wood, a storage shed full to over flowing with the ashes of the departed.
We also had a bit of a problem with 2 big Funeral homes that were caught removing bones from the deceased and replacing them with PVC pipe.
By the way I was taught that the reason for a 3 day wake began as a way to prevent grave robbing. The grave robbers wanted Fresh body's to sell to the medical schools in NY and Boston. A big business at that time in London and Scottland.
