Los Angeles - Academy-Award winning actress Jodie Foster has been accused of allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old boy after he attempted to take a picture of her at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles.
Actress of such films as “Silence of the Lambs†and “The Inside Man,†Jodie Foster, has been accused of beating up a 17-year-old boy after he went to take a photo of her at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles, according to All Headline News.
The father of the boy explained that his son is a big fan of Foster and wanted to get an up-close photo of the actress but then, the father says, she went after him, poked him in the chest and said, “Do you even have a mother you slime ball?†She then allegedly pushed and shoved the boy, which left scratches and bruises on his arm.
However, Worst Previews reports that Foster representatives claim the boy was a paparazzo and had been following and harassing Foster and her kids for hours with a professional high-end camera.

What happend to the liberty to go where you wish with your children and be left to go about your business.?
Darn if you or I were to stalked at the mall by someone pointing a camera at our kids not knowing where the pictures would show up, placing our kids in a situation where they could not do anything without someone sticking a camera in their face--
Darn but if I were to take my kids out in public to shop and a complete stranger were to follow us taking pictures of me and my kids up in our face, I would bust the person over the head with my cane and stomp on their camera.
This woman has a job yes, but she never signed away to society her rights to be not be stalked by strangers.
To say she and kids are fair game because of their high profile is absurd.
Say your picture in a group picture for a gardening club was in the local paper. Some nut for their own reasons decides to stalk you and scare the Hell out of the grandkids when shopping. They say since you were in the news paper you are now high profile and they have the right to follow you and photograph your every public place or poke a camera into your homes windows to see what you are doing.
Give Jodi a break, as a mother shopping with her kids a stranger follows her taking pictures of every move she and her children are doing. How is she to know this person is not a pervert after her children, Geeeeze, she should have beat the crap out of him.

Oh so funny you guys, just wait until someone in your family gets stalked by a stranger.
BTW, who was the young actress that was killed when she opened her door to a so called fan.?? And who was that insane man, Hinkley,? who shot our president to get the attention of a movie actress.
Look at it this way, say a member of YOUR family is attacked by a Perv, he does time and moves in next door to you. You decide to spend your life keeping track of him and his family, follow him and family about taking pictures of his every move.
By law he can demand you ceased and desist your actions. If you have security cameras pointed at his home he can demand you remove them.
Worse yet suppose he follows at a distance from the child he attacked and photos with a huge zoom lens their every move.

How nice of you Tucker, I assume you do not read your local news paper or watch the news on TV. You must be someone who never wears a seat belt because you are a safe driver.

I don't see the correlation between a perceived threat and a safety precaution.
