...in bed?
OMG.

The reference comes from a Simpsons episode. Shocking that I would know that, right?
A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Hunka_Hunka_Burns_in_Love)
The Simpsons visit a Chinese restaurant, where Homer is hired to write Chinese fortune cookies after complaining that the current fortunes are unimaginative. One of his fortunes says "You will find true love on Flag Day". This cookie makes its way to Mr. Burns on, coincidentally, Flag Day. Eager for true love at last, Burns and a reluctant Smithers spend the evening womanising at a wealthy social gathering (where Mr. Monopoly steals Burns' date) and a strip club. (which Burns refers to as a "nude female fire station"). With mere minutes left in the day, Burns finds a cop ticketing his car, which he had parked in the middle of the road. After discovering the cop is a beautiful woman named Gloria (voiced by Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Burns asks her out on a date. Gloria warily accepts, much to Burns' delight and Smithers' chagrin.

Strange this came up, funny sort of.
First date with a man I worked with that I really was not attractive to at all to was at a Chinese Restaurant. I would have preferred to go to a steak and chops house but he took me to this place.
We had 0 in common and the date was a disaster, we sat eating in quiet as there was no common ground except work and those we worked with.
End of dinner came and we each got the fortune cookie, weird, his said that the one looking at you will love you all your life. Mine said, go for the gold.
Today 22 years later this is what it is, I went for the Gold, him, and still love him.
Some people play the numbers on their fortune cookie and win a lottery of big money, Me I went for the advice and received more then any money can buy.

So sweet Vesta. Do you think that you didn't feel any pressure made you relaxed enough to give him a second chance by dinner's end?

That is a lovely story, Vesta!
(BTW - I'm in the camp that adds "in bed" at the end of the fortune cookie line, too.)
-
Wow. We've been together for a lot of years........in bed?

"I say good bye to Love, Noone even cares if I should live or die
time and time again, the chance for love has passed me by
And all I know is I have to live without it, just can't seem to find it"
