Why would you want republicans voting in the democratic primary?
-Why look at diebold in S.C? Just look at the voters. Republicans are allowed to vote in the democratic party primary.
Why hack machines when you can just vote for the least electable candidate?
Why break the law when you can legally steal the election?
Why would you want republicans voting in the democratic primary?

2. It's an open primary, meaning
anyone can vote for anybody. Doesn't matter how you're registered.

6. Every four years, that's how we NH residents pick your President.
While our primary isn't exactly "open", we allow "undeclared"
voters to take whichever party's ballot they wish, so the Democratic
Primary is always full of Republican assholes monkey-wrenching.
A huge number of our "undeclared" voters are obviously Republicans
and Libertarians.
Tesha
And democrats brought in by the bus load from neighboring states. Same day registration and no ID to vote.

10. Maybe a dumb question but what's preventing dems from changing so that
Edited on Sun Jun-13-10 05:48 PM by snagglepuss
only dems can vote?
And what happens when a scum bag democrat becomes moral and switches to the honorable Republican party?

16. I think that a political party should have a closed primary
let the party members decide who will represent the party..
Just how in the **** do you think that we ended up with McCain as the nominee?

13. Because it is much cheaper to steal an election than get out Republican vote
Look, at primary time you can't even get Republicans out to vote for Republicans, they sure as hell won't be coming out in droves to vote for Democrats, even ones they detest.
Gore with the majority of the popular vote.
All hail the Rove. :cheersmate:

:orly:
An example from last week's primaries in Iowa:
GOVERNOR - REPUBLICAN PARTY
Vote for 1 Precincts Reported 1871/1873
TERRY E. BRANSTAD Republican Party 114197 50.33%
ROD ROBERTS Republican Party 19849 8.75%
BOB VANDER PLAATS Republican Party 92742 40.88%
WRITE-IN Republican Party 96 0.04%
Total Republican Voters: 226,884
The current Dem governor was unopposed, so let's compare the above to the Democrat Senate Primary:
U.S. SENATOR - DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Vote for 1 Precincts Reported 1871/1873
ROXANNE CONLIN Democratic Party 52637 77.47%
THOMAS L. FIEGEN Democratic Party 6446 9.49%
BOB KRAUSE Democratic Party 8719 12.83%
WRITE-IN Democratic Party 141 0.21%
Total Democrat Voters: 67,943

Where did all those Republican voters come from?
Someone's not been reading his memos from Teh Rove!

Oh, but it was okay for you libtard ****stains to switch parties so you could vote for Ron Paul--and I ran into enough of you mouth-breathers between the 2008 primary and general election, so don't pull your, "Who, me?" act.

Diebold! :evillaugh:
And just a reminder lurking DUmmies, 0bama won the Iowa caucuses and also won the state over McCain handily.

Got quite an education in NH politics didn't ya. Much more of this loose talk and the New Hampshire Primary Advantage will lose all credibility. :thatsright: Then what'll we do for entertainment an spending money, huh, answer me that. But say, thanks for reminding me I have to un-enroll when I go to City Hall to register the cars (Heads up in case you forgot the cost to the state has about doubled this year which has had me singing I am blue as I can be )

Uh, well if we didn't, we wouldn't have to put up with the likes of that ass-clown Leeland Eisenberg, for starters. Not exactly what I called "entertaining" at the time.
And yeah, my registration this year will be MORE than it was last year. $397.50 due by the end of July, plus inspection fee. Thanks, Governor Lynch!

Since when don't Republicans come out and vote? do the DUmmies really think the Hopey Changey voters from 2008 are going to do the same thing again for the mid-terms? or even 2012? I doubt it!

A lot of Hopey McChangeSnorter's voters realize that they were duped, from what I've heard.
