I think gravedancing is against the rules, so I'm not going to gravedance

It just occurs to me that we are losing a lot of longtime members whose frustration is that the Obama administration is not moving at all or fast enough on issues that probably 95% of us here share.

Cough it up, flvegan! What were their names?
It wasn't the thread about "peta crazies" from this morning, was it?

35. I'm starting to wonder, daily, why I support this party ...But what I see increasingly here is not a healthy self examination and criticism, but a growing self sabotage that will surely end in the election of another GOP White House in 2012 and probably GOP majority in the fall.

43. My frustration is bigger than that.
My frustration is that BO is moving us backward.
One quarter trillion in tax cuts (mainly for the rich) in a weak stimulus bill.
A "surge" in Afghanistan.
A regressive "health care" bill with a cost-plus structure for "health insurance" companies.
A lack of leadership in Copenhagen which was planetary treason.
This planet is accelerating toward disaster and he doesn't appear to give a shit.
I will never vote for him again. **** him and the DLC horse he rode in on.

18. I'm just not really caring that much anymore.
It's gotten plainly absurd.
Obama isn't even halfway through his first term yet and they're already despondent. :loser:

Would the DUmmies like a little cheese to go with their "whine"?
You are realizing Zero is what we "stupid Republicans" knew he was back in 2007....
Enjoy!

I agree. When it came to the "That's crazy!! Who's stupid enough to believe that?" category, the affirmative union primitive was always there to pick up the banner.

There is no Happiness in Dumbville...the mighty Zero has struck out...again...and again...and again

Bummer's done enough damage for my entire lifetime! Here's hoping we can stop him from shoving us clear off the cliff!
Oh, and if the wittle DUmmies whine and complain, it's a twofer!

8. It is like a bog here, in many ways
We're mired in bog muck. And the bog monsters are in control. Swarms of bog monsters.
They've started a new one:

It's been a while since I posted here. And, not sure I will post
again for another long time. But, I just had to say that as a progressive, I have had it with the direction of the Democratic Party, and the direction the Party is taking this country.
Well, I am one person who will be changing his party label to independent. And, no Blue Dog...no DLCer, no one who runs against the union will get one more thin dime from me. No more campaigning for candidates who call themselves Democrats, but who sell Democratic ideals to the highest bidder. And, most of all, none of the above will get another vote from me.
I am a member of a teacher's union...and, I will not vote for the likes of a President who puts the likes of Arne Duncan in charge of Education. Obama is off my list...if he is the nominee, and I'm sure he will be...if he wins the general election, it will be without my vote.
I've had it. This is the last straw.
I have quit giving a damn.

They're all for big government taking over every facet of their lives until....... it is the unions. OSHA and the Department of Labor, to name just two, are protecting their blessed rights and safety. They should be thrilled.
Call the Wahmbulance.
-
Unions have gone so far to the left they are no longer recognizable from the institutions that worried about fair play and safety in the work force! They're nothing more than crooked, communist extensions of the Dems now. They need to be dissolved, period!
Used to be, in the old days, they had their members livelihood and best interest in mind. No more! They exist merely for an elite few in management to make millions and to elect politicians that will protect their criminal enterprises! I think they were more honest when the Mob controlled the purse strings!

Damn, I think I'll have a very nice weekend knowing the DUmmies are writhing in "pain". :rotf:

4. And I said I'd never vote for a third party candidate...
But then I won't have to, since I'm in Northern NY, and most local races, at least, are Republicans running uncontested.
:-)

Oh Look! A DUmmie neighbor of mine!
:-)
Actually, that zip (12866) is Saratoga Springs. I grew up there, my parents still live there. My mother's active in local Republican circles.
So, she's not that far from Carl (hey, neighbor!) and I.
