Sick Irony- Fox News Shoe In To Take Helen’s Front Row Seat
TVNewser has learned CNN White House correspondent and White House Correspondents Association officer Ed Henry will vote for Fox News to take over the front row White House briefing room seat vacated earlier this week with the abrupt resignation of Helen Thomas.
Henry is one of three officers on the WHCA, the others being Ed Chen of Bloomberg and David Jackson of USA Today. Other board members include Doug Mills of The New York Times, Steve Scully of C-SPAN, Don Gonyea of NPR, Julie Mason of the DC Examiner and Caren Bohan of Reuters.
CNN only got a front row seat after the renovations of the James S. Brady briefing room in 2007. CNN was awarded the seat due to seniority -- 27 years on the air at the time. We're told Fox News supported the move then. And now, as the #1 cable news network and almost 14 years on the air, this may be FNC's time.

5. No irony, just a fix that's in.
Further corporate takeover of the infotainment industry, deeper burial of what used to be a news industry.
It's a small campfire. :evillaugh:

I never get tired of using this smilie lately:

Oh boy, 1st a Republican replaces Kennedy, then Lincoln wins, now Fox News taking over Helen's old seat? :lmao:

Yep, that's a classic as well. :lmao:
I think Happy Fun Ball posted it today in a different thread.

Lucy doesn't even have to hold the football on the ground anymore. They just fall down on their own.

They have a thread over there on sending flowers to HT. 78 replies, falling all over themselves. Mainly the namesless faceless mob, but I noticed stupid Beth was in the mob. Anti-semitic bigots, every last one of these lefties. They don't even hide it anymore.
-
Do they ever have any concrete examples of why FNC isn't a news organization? Or do they just repeat each other's talking points?
-

Ya know what would be REALLY cool?
Fox News HIRES HELLen Medusa-Thomas as a Fox News Contributing Analyst and Editor!
DUmmy heads would vaporize en mass.

Umm NO! LOL, I don't want to see her face on my beautiful news channel.
-
BTW I was listening to the radio at work and someone came up with this name for Helen, Helen THAMAS LOL.
-
Umm NO! LOL, I don't want to see her face on my beautiful news channel.
Amen! While I would love to watch the spontaneous combustion over at DU, I couldn't stand to see her face in VIDEO when FNC was reporting on the story. Her and Henry Waxman could haunt houses.

Even though I do share this sentiment expressed by you and Revolution, PG actually brings up a good point. The DUmb****s' heads would be rotating 360 degrees at 5000+ rpm, for months. Hook 'em up to an electic generator, and there'd be no brownouts in the US for years.

Sure the head spinning would be fun to watch, the same if Matthews and Olbermann were hired by Fox, but after the fun of watching the meltdown over it my beautiful news channel would be impossible to watch.

Every time I see that hag all I can think of is...
"I'll get you my pretty, and your little dog too" :o

If Oblermann were hired, (never gonna happen) I think Bill would quit.

If Olbermann or Matthews ever left (P)MSNBC, I'm sure someone (cough... MadCow... cough) would anonymously drop the pics of the two of them in bed together off at the National Enquirer within 24 business hours.
-
This is so good, it's got to be fattening.

Since she's been on so much the last few days, I've been trying to figure out why she reminded me of someone....
She better stay out of the rain! :evillaugh:

I'd actually be worried that if I looked directly at her, I'd turn to stone.

:rotf: Suck it DUmmies!

I've heard that an arc welder's mask can delay the effects of looking at it for extended periods. If one only occasionally glances at the Medusa, one can have no ill effects.
-
Once again my evil plan to defeat them is working.

Who says they don't already?
On the bright side, IF FNC DID hire Thomas, at 189 years old, she won't be there long....
Will she?

I dunno, but two questions may help clarify that:
1) How long has "Drac" Clark been on TV; and
2) Can you guarantee that whatever has made "Drac" immortal isn't available to Helen Himmler?

1) 58 years, give or take 5 either way....
2) No....
