This guy is a prime example of psychopath.

With any luck at all, he'll be a prime example of a psychopath swinging from the end of a rope very soon.

No death penalty in Peru, drat!
I do find it amazing he confessed so quickly! Must not treat criminals with kid gloves down south, heh!

35 years is the max according to Fox News, and likely much less since he confessed. :censored:

I can live with that! 25 to 30 in a Peruvian prison.............yeah, I can live with that!

From what I've heard, the "locals" in the Peruvian prisons don't take too kindly to foreigners killing Peruvians. My guess is that they "execute" some "jailhouse justice."

I'm countin' on it!
Sounds like she came from a fairly well off family, too. Daddy will make this POS suffer every minute, if he can! I foresee him sharing a cell with Ben Dover!

Well, the father of the murder victim said he didn't want him to get the death penalty. Sooooooo......sounds to me like he has a plan. Hope it comes together.

Father has to have a plan.
Most fathers....and mothers....if someone killed their child ....would want to go after the killer themselves. I know I would....

Apparently his story is that she was prying on his computer and so he jumped her and started beating her. Makes you wonder just exactly what the Hell was on that computer's HD...
-
I doubt she was on his computer. I imagine he thinks blaming her for the instigation somehow makes him look less like a murdering psychopath. He just probably thought he could continue to get away with murder in a small country.

Any bets on whether the last known photos - alive or dead - of Ms. Hollowell in Aruba are on there? I seem to recall a whole mess of this punk's personal belongings were ruled inadmissable as evidence during the course of that investigation.

Yeah, Aruba seems to have the same justice system we have here. The criminal is protected at all costs. The victim...........not so much!

Actually, that is exactly what the news reports on it were saying this morning, that she got on his computer to check him out after she went to his room with him and that's why he attacked her...according to him.

According to one report I heard/saw/read yesterday is that he had information about the Holloway girls death on his computer.

That is a dumb defense. I hope they use it.
It would be like me killing a jehovah witness that rings my doorbell at 8am on a Sunday morning. It's obviously not reasonable..and he will eventually be killed by peruvians...Maybe he wanted to get caught...I wonder how many women he killed.

I look for him to spend a few years in jail and when things settle down his mother will buy his way out of jail. Someone should just bump him off if that happens. This POS has lived too long.

There was a news video that I saw about 25 years ago.
Family friend kidnapped a boy and sexually molested him. FBI caught the guy and he was being returned to the state of origin.
The the news was covering the scene at the airport. Well the kid's dad was there tucked into a hallway phone booth. He turned around and shot/killed the rapist.
The father was sentenced top 5 years of probation as I recall.

Yep, saw the same vid clip.
You wouldn't find a jury in the country, outside of Frisco of course, that would have given that guy any other decision.
The damn thing made me cry and wonder whether or not I would have the guts to do what he did! I like to think I would........... Seeing that POS go down was nectar to my soul!

That happened in Baton Rouge. The dad got probation; no jail time. I wish I would have been on that jury cause I would have held out for not guilty.

This is the very reason that "temporary insanity" is given credence in American law. Too bad it has been bastardized by slip and fall lawyers!
Criminal defense lawyers have sold their soul for the almighty buck! Their ethics they were supposedly taught while in law schrool, have been discarded at the wayside for their own greedy expectations!

Colombian authorities say they are now going to investigate whether he is linked to 2 women who went missing while he was there. That was before he went to Peru.
-
Where were his funds coming from? He was gallivanting all over. I remember he tried to bribe Natalee's mom or something like that, but I do wonder where he got the $$$ from to do all of this traveling.
He is scum. I wonder how many others (if any) he has murdered. I think he will just love his prison time :-). The dad is a big to do kinda guy, and I don't see this sitting well with other prisoners. Too bad, too sad.

Not bribe, he wanted to extort cash from her Mother for information.

I think so too. Just like Ted Bundy. I would not be surprised if there are murders in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

He will be some "girlfriend" of other prisoners. They don't look too kindly to foreigners who kill females and children.

Yes, that is right. I had a vague recollection of something going on with her mom and getting money from her. I guess he would have nothing to bribe her with, but extort, yes. Terrible. What a piece of work he is. Gross.

I won't be surprised when they turn his ass into a playground! heh!

I for one agree with him. Death would be way too easy. There are times when I can get behind the DP, but I would rather him suffer in the Peru prison system than give him death. He will probably be praying for death by the time it is all said and done. I do think it is wrong to be so vengeful, but human nature is just that, and I am not the parents, family, or friends of the people he murdered, so I will not pretend to understand how they feel. I do understand wanting a strict punishment though. I wonder how Natalee's mom feels about all of this.

Police: Dutchman to reveal Holloway location
LIMA, Peru - As prosecutors in Peru prepared charges against Joran van der Sloot in the strangling death of a 21-year-old woman, police told NBC News on Thursday the Dutch man admits knowing the location of the remains of missing U.S. teen Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
Van der Sloot remains the lone suspect in Holloway’s disappearance — exactly five years to the day before Stephany Flores was killed in Peru.
Police sources told NBC News van der Sloot is now willing to tell authorities in Aruba where to find the Alabama teenager’s remains.

Basically a repeat of the same story above.

I agree, sometimes I want to see the DP carried out but sometimes I think death is too easy. I don't know how I would feel if he had killed my daughter. On one hand I would actually want to watch him die, on the other I think a Peruvian jail would be worse than death.

If it were my child, I'd probably end up in prison myself. I can't imagine. I'd want everything that could possibly be done to him to be done. But that is strictly emotions talking. Whatever comes his way, I hope it is very unpleasant. VERY.

This subhuman needs to be doused with brown gravy and locked in a dark room with a rabid wolverine.
