I personally think it is very generous (perhaps to a fault) that the DU admin provides a protected place for you to complain about the way they run the board.
That alone should persuade you that, far from being the "persecuted minority" that you imagine yourself to be, the owners have gone out of their way to provide for you.
But I'm sure you will not be content until every trace of what you describe as "spam" is eliminated from every other forum here.
I hope you never succeed, because Echo chambers are very boring, useless places.

The DU owners gave you your own protected forum, which you use to diss them constantly for allowing diversity of opinion on the rest of it.
I have read the hissy-fits in there, just enough to recognize that when you define the "mission" of others to "make this an anti-obama site," you are projecting massively.
The folks who truly want to "remake" this site in their own image are not to be found among the rank and file out here.
We all know how to find them.

Funny you should say that, I have lately been thinking that Wilson may really be a better comparison than Carter for his particular brand of arrogant intellectualism and blind-to-reality idealism (To be charitable; idealism isn't really a positive when dealing with committed Socialist/Commie).

They're wavering in their support, they see the economy worsening, unemployment will be over 10% after the census workers are fired, so some of them needed a boost to convince themselves that they were right about Obama.

As I have said before in the days leading up to the special election in Mass. that despite what they knew was happening and as depressed as they were about it anyone saying "no..,Martha was going to win" drew dozens of replies saying that was what they needed to hear and how much better they felt.

You should see the FEMA jobs they have here. $13 an hour to sit on you butt and punch keys all day. $21 an hour to teach people to use computers (I would have jumped on that one but I've barely used Office 2007).
