Obama takes charge from BP, sends in the Navy, the CG and a cadre of geniuses to plug the hole
BP then get's pissed off and threatens to sue the gubmint.
Obama tells BP to go **** themselves and that he'll see them in court.
Meanwhile, Fox & Fiends along with the rest of Murdoch's peanut gallery accuses Obama of further using the office of he president to roll over and take over private industry like a Panzer Blitzkrieg.
Surface oil gets sucked into clouds via hurricanes, spread toxic "Chocolate Rain" far wide through though the Heartland.
People are PISSED!
Yet despite their PWONing, (BP and the GOP oil lobby try for a new "It's all Obama's fault" agi-prop campaign intstead.
However, the hole is plugged up and Obama saves the day
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the GOP runs around with perpetual egg on their faces.
Sounds like another stellar Whaaaaaambulance day for the republicants.

C`mon Woody...you can`t be that stupid can you?
Nevermind the reason for threads like this is to stroke your own lame ass ego at the DUmp.

1. Obama has the geniuses advising BP now.
Guess Lamond can`t reply for that reason. :whatever:

Seeing as how none of those things have happened nearly 45 days after the original accident, I'd have to say you're full of shit, Woody.

Has anyone ever seen oil evaporate and rain down before??
I've seen tiny oil puddles than never seem to go away, there would be a whole lot more clean drive ways in this country if oil evaporated.

He,s a visitor from a different universe, right?

ahhh.. So that's where the golf balls for the junk shot came from, 0's poor game.

the jug-eared kenyan said it himself (harrumph, harrumph):
"The American people should know that from the moment this disaster began, the federal government has been in charge of the response effort."
heh. really...
and i recall another great american warning of this exact same thing.
'I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

The more this man runs his mouth proclaiming that the Fed. Gvt. had been running the show from "day one" will help excuse BP from responsibility. I thought he was some kind of whiz-kid law - dog expert or something. If he really has "approved" everything, all of which has failed, well, doesn't the Government share in the failure?
Recall, please, the "Glomar Explorer" that was capable of hweavy marine salvage at 17,000 ft deep a few decades ago. The Navy has been considerably improved in its' expertise since then. They , the Navy, should have been called day one and as much of the debris as possible removed from the area and brought to the surface making the valve body available from every angle, then. maybe the valve could be shut. The Glomar or its' modern equilevent can deliver what ever is needed in terms of equpiment, tools and remote operation robots that could have beejn more successful that the current lame attempt.
Baghdad Bob Gibbs, Rahm Emnanuel, Former Gov. Napolitano need to be replaced with "real" people. Well, Mr. Obama too, but that's a ways ahead.

Wasn't that ship a cover for raising a sunken Soviet submarine?

Wasn't that ship a cover for raising a sunken Soviet submarine?
Yes, it was--a "Golf"-class SSB that sank off of Hawaii.
-
the lift of that sub was only partially successful because one of the gripping claws was flawed and broke as the Sub was being raised. The film of tthe well shows debris al around, heavy steel junk that should have been removed if possible. I cannot help but wonder why nothing has been attempted, where is our NAVY? only the C in C can answer.

Probably out of respect for the crew that died aboard, and the possibility that nothing more of value--intelligence-wise--could be recovered.
-
Failure of the lift is a very convenient resolution to the episode, it may or may not be true. I would not jump to a conclusion either way, since all the available information comes through the filter of the CIA or military personnel working with them under nondisclosure agreements.

Bummer wants to sue a company that has already admitted responsibility and has already paid out more than 8 mil in damages! Frikkin' brilliant! I bet his IQ is damn near 70, too!
BP has said repeatedly they will bear the full brunt of the expense! Just what is Bummer going to sue for, his credibility back? Gimme a frikkin' break, Zero. We all know you've been on this since day one! We ought to be suin' you, idiot!

It's just Obama's way of showing how much he cares, and improving the decision-making process by dragging Fifth Amendment issues into it, since it apparently wasn't tense enough already.
Various Administration idiots, like Carol Browner (sp?) were on the news this morning insisting that the Feds had been in control all along (Probably not an argument I would be trying to make right now, if I were them), for reasons that just boiled down to the Feds having had veto power over BP's decisions. I guess by that measure the President really does have control of all the laws, since he can veto them after Congress passes them.

When the hell do the people get veto power without having to wait on elections? By the time we overhaul the congress, it will take years to undo what these traitors have done!
The Founding Fathers had the right idea! Take up arms! Our Constitution gives us the power to throw these bums out by force if need be! It's sure as hell the way I read the Second! How long are we going to put up with this shirt?
That last comment ought to give Bummer's SS an orgasm!

Like Dear Leader, Lamond has a lot of growing up to do...... still.

Oh, I don't believe he's incompetent. Watch Glenn Beck. The corruption he's involved in is downright evil genius. Genius as in not having it plastered on the front page and on every news show in existence! He has somehow turned the media into lap dogs. Back in the day, these stories would have catapulted unknowns into celebrity status! The MSM ignores everything devilish about the man. Not an easy trick, even from our lefty media.

I don't think Obama is intelligent enough to do the things that Beck points out, though. I think it's his handlers that have the real brains.

Exactimundo. He is just a pretty face and voice for the designs of much smarter people, and is too vain to even tumble to it. In the back of his mind, there is something vaguely like a clue, which is why he avoids ever answering any unstructured, unscripted questions or formats in which they could be asked by the non-enthralled.

No kiddin'. Never even noticed teleprompters until "The Ones" christening.

I'm afraid that Mr. Obama is of slightly above average intelegence, and suffers, as I've noted before, from malignent narcissisam. This malady makes it impossible for him to surround hinself with anything but mirrors of himself and recripicals of hinself. Of necessity all must be idealogues sharing his view. And that'swhat we have. Review his "kitchen cabinet" of Czars as evidence. Anthony Van Jones, indeed. Further, they cannot be a whole lot brighter nr can they have any real world experience outside government. Why, because they'd DISAGREE with Mr. Obama and likely correctly so, and his ego could NOT stand that.
He is not that bright, and almost incapable of planning what is happening. Not to say the few in this Administration who are brighter than average are too stupid not to take advantage, they are taking advantage. So we need to close him down in November. Anyone who has supported this lot needs to be thrown out, clean sweep, folks, clean sweep.
