Does anyone here have an IRA?
   
I'm about to get one and am wondering what to do with it.

I understand there is some flexibility in what I can do with it but am not sure of the options. Short of just letting it sit there til I'm 59-1/2, I'm asking for opinions.

The babbling sister asks a simple enough question. But in 90 minutes on a Friday night, only four DUmmies can be mustered for a reply, and only one of those sounds like it has the potential for decent advice. Sister, come to CC and ask your question. I guarantee you much better responses.  :lmao:

Go ahead and get an IRA or a 401K....

You won't have it when you turn 59 1/2, or even 159 1/2....

Lord Zero will have it long before then....

Along with your Social Security, Medicare, Healthcare, internet, first born children, etc....
