Berry under fire for mosque bomb remark
By MOISES MENDOZA
HOUSTON CHRONICLE

A Houston talk show host this week called for the bombing of a mosque if it's built near the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City.
In comments Wednesday on KPRC-950 AM, Michael Berry said, “I'll tell you this — if you do build a mosque, I hope somebody blows it up.†Berry added: “I hope the mosque isn't built, and if it is, I hope it's blown up, and I mean that.â€
The remarks came in an angry exchange with a caller who insulted Berry and said Muslims should be able to build mosques wherever they want. They were discussing a pending proposal to build an Islamic Center just a few blocks from the attack site in Manhattan.

These Muslims have no faith whatsoever. Talk about a chip on their shoulder, like leftists. Should never build a mosque at what used to be the World Trade Center. Here are some comments left.

Michael Berry's remarks are nothing short of Racist.
How is attacking Muslims racist?

Berry's comments (1) are playing to the crowd whose members make most of the comments on the Chron Web site, (2) are "terrorist" in that his words are meant to scare some people who are his enemies, (3) are both un-American and so-American, (4) show he is a lightweight thinker.
Like many moonbats? :mental:

Since the hate is toward the religion the term is Michael Berry is a right wing nut that is a bigot. Wonder what people would say if a Muslim would state that they should blow up Christian Churches? They are terrorist, well so are right wing nuts like Berry.
I can think of a lot of leftists who are terrorists.

Dude is the reason why 911 happened thanks bud.
9/11 happened because they hate America, not because we hate Muslims. Stupid is strong. :mental:

Thinking that a mosque should not be built near ground zero is the same as thinking that a Christian church should not be built near the site of the federal building in Oklahoma City. I would like to take this opportunity to remind the right-wing so-called Americans that this is AMERICA, and that our country stands for FREEDOM. Everyone's freedom, not just yours. My goodness how the right-wingers seem to forget that.
No, you ****ing moron! The OKC Bombing was committed by a Neo-Nazis who likely sympathized with Islamists. Stupid is really strong in this one. :mental: :bird:

Muntaser Zaheer is still steamed about the controversial comments local radio talk-show host Michael Berry made earlier this week.
He said on Saturday that he's especially mad because it appears Berry hasn't been reprimanded for calling for a mosque to be blown up during a heated on-air exchange on Wednesday.
