Wow, this is just great. Freepers love us now.
A "craigslist-ing" pal from Nevada just sent me this:
We love the idiots at dumbocratic underground dot com! - (Free Republic)
I just wanted to drop in on you liberal numbnuts and say, I've been reading your forum and wanted to say thank you A TON for taking your boy Obama apart bone by bone over the BP oil spill! We appreciate that you finally got it about the Kenyan socialist. Nice to have you on board! HAHAHAHAHA!!.

Fan****ingtastic. So remind me, in a circular firing squad, where do they all aim again? At the head, heart, or foot?

2. So we shouldn't criticize a president over his mishandling of a huge disaster
Just because it means we get laughed at by the idiots over at FR? Sorry, don't buy it, don't do lockstep, call 'em as I see 'em.
If Obama doesn't want such widespread criticism, perhaps he should start doing the right thing rather than leaving the Gulf to the tender mercies of BP

29. Well, to be honest...
you guys - and yeah, you're a distinct group - have been tearing him apart over every ****ing thing he does. He gets his kids a Spanish water dog instead of adopting a mutt, and he's mother****ing satan. He dares to win the nomination instead of Clinton, and let's lynch that boy, right?
I'm waiting for you guys to join the birther crowd, frankly. You don't sound different at all.

5. They copy our stuff regularly
I was searching for some stuff the other day, and I stumbled upon the fact that the freepers copy and paste whole threads over to their site. Several other sites seem to "collect" alot of postings and "reflect" them on their own sites. Probably don't have enough of their own content

7. I saw a post on Free Republic thanking the OP for keeping "the left" in line.
I promise, I saw it with my own two eyes.
You don't want to be like THEM, do you?

and don't mindlessly support everything the administration does.
"Dumbocratic Underground"? What are they, five?
:lmao:
These are the same people who use vulgar terms for American exercising their right to free speech?
The same people who call Republicans "Repukes" and they're preaching about maturity?

Right. Thats why Elena Kagan is nominated to the SCOTUS at the same time they are pushing Net Neutrality and things like McCain-Feingold. Only to shut down dissent.

It's like watching a slow motion train wreck, who could look away? Watching your ptpiful brains work, those slow motion hamster wheels you call brains, is very entertaining.

20. Of course numbnuts has been reading our "forum"
It is an institute of higher learning that a slack jawed drop chinned loose nostril backwater nuclear lipped deliverance inbred would probably be in complete awe of.
I guess he should keep reading - you can criticize performance without condemning the performer. As usual the freeper yokels will find one completely misconstrued sentence taken out of context and claim it makes their case, AS IF such an occurence has the magical power to change reality.
Poor stupid shit. If he had half a nut he'd come wave his little boy parts around over here and try to hang with some real people instead of that group of fat assed home schooled lard loving pizza eating still-live-with-mom crowd that would shit themselves if they ever caught a glimpse in the mirror bunch of guffawing piss poor protoplasm that lurks over there.

You stupid scrunt, Skinner has to protect your group-think echo chamber view of the world and won't allow a conservative to voice their views for more than a couple of posts. However, you stupid scrunt, feel free to come here, register and post.

If any DUchebag can tell me why while being the self-proclaimed losers they are, they think they are so smarter than the successful people?
-
I have asked it here a few times before so will again to lurkers.
Why don`t you have a corresponding forum or thread at the DUmp to "highlight" things conservatives write.
I know the answer...outside of a few idiotic posts here and there you have NO answer for the points that a logical and thinking mind can intelligently argue.
Good God,the fact you have such a den of pure insanity as the 9/11 forum shows what you all consider at least somewhat okay.

An institute of higher learning..... :mental: Words fail me, except for "Why don't we just blow up the leak?"

There are actually few problems that can't be fixed by the appropriate application of high explosives, but in this case it would mean using something like a ribbon charge around the base of the pipe at the point where it enter the ocean floor, in order to sever the wreckage; then moving the wreckage aside (Also could be fairly easy to accomplish with pusher charges), and then shoving a relatively small charge such as a small GP iron bomb body (Significantly smaller than the pipe's internal diameter) in place of a drill head a few hundred feet down the hole, then setting it off to collapse the bore deeply enough that pressure wouldn't just keep blowing crude out through a diffuse rubble pile, which would just make the problem even more intractable.
While a sophisticated explosive solution is feasible, of course that is not what the simple-minded DUmmies are talking about, they just want to blast the wellhead, which only makes the problem worse to the extent it changes the situation at all.
-
Well, alrighty then. Who knew? Do you know if BP has this idea in the works?
-
Nah. Getting the right kind of explosive package and expertise for this would require direct DOD involvement, the industrial explosives with which the oil industry is familiar and comfortable are much bulkier and not suited to this kind of application, nor would the Coasties be comfortable touching them since the closest they come to explosive handling is packaged gun rounds, their expertise with demolition explosives and air-delivered ordnance is extremely minimal.
The 'top kill' technique that's going to be tried is a non-explosive oil industry method of the sort BP is most comfortable with, everyone else on the Federal 'Task force' (cough) side is just kibbitzing and trying to avoid being in a position to catch any blame if it fails.
