What if This Nut "Ayn" Rand Paul Wins?
Can a man who believes in segregated facilities really be elected to the United State Senate in 2010?
Rand Paul does not believe in segregated facilities, duh. He isn't a Democrat segregationist.
But to be fair, the KY voters got a fast one pulled on them. Paul is as nutty as his old man.
The whole things been blown out of proportion. Rand Paul was 1 year old when the act was voted in, so the question is irrelevant, it's already the law. It's like asking a potential (or current) representative if he was around in 1789 would he have agreed to ratify the US Constitution, and if he answered "yes" that means he approves of slavery. :mental:
.
Yep! This was like the question are you still beating your wife?
You're never going to give the answer that will let you off the hook! Typical MSM fishing expedition.
I actually have seen signs that said, NO Yankees allowed.

I kind of like Rand Paul, I think some people judge him by his father rather than judging him as his own person. For the record, I would rather have nutty Ron Paul as President than Obama any day. He is crazy enough to actually follow through with some of the things that need to be done in this country. I would take a slightly nutty libertarian over a thin skinned narcissistic devicive progressive any day.
Do not concur. Paul's foreign policy is just as damaging as Obama's, and his fiscal policy, while it plays to his supporters, would devastate the economy for far longer than it will take to fix Obama's ****ups.
I agree with you on the foreign policy part but on the fiscal part I don't. Could you tell me what it is about his fiscal policy that would devastate the economy more than Obama already has?
I don't necessarily have a problem with that.

I think the way most people look at it, it's like going 60 and slamming your E brake to rapid turn the other direction. Jacks your car up like no ones business. Best to take a slower more controlled turn. His policies as the eventual long term goal might be better, but right now no.
He likely believes, much as AuH2O did, that it would be ideal to just shut those tyrannical programs down, it is not wise to do so. It is better to gradually reduce and eliminate those programs.
There are many programs that can be eliminated, for which the Federal Government has NO BUSINESS being involved in...
HUD
Dept. of Education
EPA
and the list goes on.
