A sign in front of the restaurant read, "Hell Yeh [ sic] Arizona. Send those [expletive] home! Anchor babies & all! If u [ sic] can't feed um [ sic] don't breed um [ sic]"
The bar is located near several Hispanic businesses and some residents expressed concern over the sign

Good for them! I became very peeved over the whole anchor baby thing while in my last town.
First the illegal mom and dad show up, have a kid as soon as possible (paid for by us). Mooch off the gov as much as possible. When the kids' are old enough, they have to quit school to work to bring home money. They hate that, so they go start they own family (now legal) and soak the rest of us for every benefit they can get and share it with mom and pop. Gads, what a situation we've allowed. Mexico would never tolerate it.

We are the only country in the world that allows an infant the power to drag in his or her fifty closest family members as newly minted citizens. Talk about a drain on resources.
I'm not sure exactly how many of the newborns in AZ are anchor babies but it's alot. One would be too many. My daughter was born in Germany and the Germans sure didn't rush to offer her citizenship. Duh, we can be so dumb as a nation sometimes.

FAIR estimates there are currently more than 425,000 children born to illegal aliens each year. In a 2004 United States General Accounting Office report, three states submitted their annual cost estimates of educating illegal children. The estimates provided ranged from 50 million dollars to 87.5 million in Pennsylvania and 932 million to 1.04 billion dollars in Texas.

I've read that a lot of women cross the border just as they are about to give birth, just so their kids will be citizens.
Fox News had also done a story about Birth Tourists from other countries. They specifically come to the US near their due dates, so their children will be born here. They usually go home with their parents, but they are free to return later on, since they are considered US citizens.
