Done with finals. Now to get ready for classes that start in two weeks. :thatsright:
Back to your regular scheduled programming.

Congrats Mike! I vaguely remember what a relief it was to get through finals week. :cheersmate:

Very good! I remember what how great a feeling that was. I still tend to eat more junk food during weeks coinsiding with two of my kids' finals weeks!

I bet that is a relief! My son is taking a class this summertoo at the Art Center in Pasadena (at night). He got an internship at the company my husband works for in a different department. My husband didn't even know they had offered him the job until my son called him. He will be home in about a week and a half. They can ride to work together and take the HOV lane which will be nice. He also got a couple of other offers, one of them was at Kimberly Clark. When he called them to tell them that he was taking the job here they offered to pay him $5 more an hour and pay to get him there and back. He went from being depressed because he didn't have an offer (my husband tried to tell him that companies don't respond right after you send them your resume) to having a few to pick from. His confidence is back which is a good thing.

Congrats Mike!! Haven't taken finals for 25 years now (by crackey!!) but I remember how happy I was to be finished with 'em.
My son still has a month of school and then he'll graduate 8th grade; it's on to high school next fall . . . :ohnoes:

It does feel good. Unfortunately the break is only a couple weeks then it's back into the grind. I applied for a surgical technologist program at the local community college in Corinth, so I'm waiting to hear if I made it in. Fortunately my test scores were great and the lady that heads it up said I should have no trouble being in the top 25 that are selected to start in fall. In the mean time, I get to take A&P and Medical Terminology.
Easy subjects. :sarcasm:
But if anything, it's more employable and pays better than a history degree.
