On the bright side (note the bold), looks like there won't be classes in Teabagger Studies:

Arizona Governor signs law banning ethnic studies programs in public schools
When we thought it couldn't get any worse in Arizona, this happens:
Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has signed a bill that will end ethnic studies classes in the state. Her action came one day after UN human rights experts released a statement criticizing the bill on the grounds that all people have the right to learn about their own cultural and linguistic heritage.
The bill bans classes that "promote resentment toward a race or class of people," "are designed primarily for pupils of a particular ethnic group," or "advocate ethnic solidarity instead of treating pupils as individuals
Also prohibited: all those classes that "promote the overthrow of the U.S. government."
The author of the bill, Tom Horne, the state superintendent of public instruction, is running for the Republican nomination for state attorney general. He told local media that his target is the Mexican-American studies curriculum in Tucson public schools. The bill however applies to all public and charter schools from kindergarten through 12th grade.
So wrong, on so many levels.

Dammit! I was gonna go to AZ and start a class on firebombing federal buildings and predominantly white churches...now I'll have to go to Berkley where the property taxes are too high!

1. I hope the people of AZ get an attorney general on speaking terms
with the First Amendment.
Where in the 1st Amendment, the Bill of Rights or the entire US Constitution does it say taxpayers have to pay for ANY study program let alone those that preach racism and ethnic hatred?
-
What does this have to do with the First Amendment? The state and local government runs the schools don't they? The liberals have used government to force their leftism on public school for years and when its finally undone they start screaming first amendment.
Did they not say the first amendment was for individuals and not for institutions? I guess they change their minds now?

And where does it say that people have a right to learn how to destroy our Country?
I think this is a great law, it hopefully rectifies the damage liberals have been getting away with for over 40 years in our schools, divide and conquer. The issue recently with the Cinco De Mayo crap is a direct result of multiculturism being taught instead of teaching why it's important we call ourselves Americans.
