Obama won't golf with Limbaugh

http://www.nypost.com/p/pagesix/prez_won_play_rush_game...

When President Obama was asked if he would play a round of golf with his talk-radio nemesis Rush Limbaugh, the response, relayed by a top Democrat, was: "Limbaugh can play with himself."

This is according to Zev Chafets in his new book, "Rush Limbaugh: An Army of One," due May 25 from Sentinel.

The caustic comeback is another example of the verbal venom between the White House and the conservative radio star. In an interview with CBS News last month, Obama called the views spelled out by Limbaugh and Fox News Channel's Glenn Beck "troublesome."

6. No doubt he's a dandy, I'd like to see what his "porn" bill is each month
That sob should be in a gray bar hotel somewhere as I type. It wouldn't do for that piece of shit to mingle with us regular peps. He may feel safe in the company of his dittoheads but the rest of us hate his guts and there is a lot more of us than there is of them.

Wanna bet?

I wouldn't play with Limpballs either. I'd be too afraid of facing criminal charges after he accidentally walked into my back swing.

13. I wouldnt want to play with him either. I'd feel tempted to wrap a 9 iron round his fat neck.
And I'm normally such a peaceful person.

Such a loving group.

Dude, 0bama wouldn't be caught spending any time with you "regular" people either.  And I use that term loosely when it comes to DUmmies.

I really don't understand the seething hatred for Limbaugh -

He is a political commentator, who attracts a large audience - but thats all he is - a political commentator. He doesn't make policy, write bills, or pass laws. If his positions become totally out of line with America, his listening audience will shrink. However, as long as there remains a large number of listeners, he will continue to do what he does, and get paid for doing it.

When other commentators such as Maddow and Olbermann deliver commentary that large numbers of people agree with, their audiences will grow along with their ratings.

I find it fascinating that the left -champions of freedom and free expression- would like nothing more than to remove Limbaugh, Beck, Fox News, etc. from the air permanently. They claim that their listeners are a bunch of brain dead 'morans' , yet these self appointed geniuses are incapable of producing a competing message that is equally compelling to the 'sheeple'

He has given voice and motivation to those who they consider enemies and as such they want him destroyed thinking that after the opposition will also go away.

I thought it was because he so adept at pointing out the sheer stupidity of leftist positions and ideologies.

I agree with that assessment - but honestly.. You would think that the followers of the 'Smartest Administration in History' would know that it isn't the messenger, but the message that matters. The left should also know from their past - when they used to believe in free speech - that *Who* the messenger is matters far less than *What* they have to say. Now its all Identity Politics for them which is just the opposite - Its not *What* you say, but *Who* you are that matters.

I would disagree with the message/messenger distinction at this point.
To believe what they do means they have to keep believing proven falsehoods are the truth (the
"stolen" elections of 2000 and 2004,denial of the failure of socialism/communism) so they view Rush as one who says things they know are true but have to believe are not.
Easiest way to deal with that conundrum is to make it go away.

Ninety percent of them have never even heard Limbaugh. They hate him because they've been told they should hate hime. They proclaim their hate so they can be in the clique.

I will at least listen to a Mike Malloy or Janeane Garofolo or Keith Olbermann and provide a quote or two before declaring what an asshole they are. DUmmies don't listen and so they have to make up shit about draft dodging or pedophilia or make fun of someone's appearance. They have nothing else to go on.

We may occasionally make fun of someone's looks or mannerisms but normally it's tangential to some other topic regarding the individual. DUmmies start threads for the sole purpose of that type of derision. They have nothing of substance to say.

You hit the nail on the head, miskie. During the Bush regime, the Liberals and Progressives considered dissent, patriotic. Now that we have the Usurper in office, they consider dissent akin to treason. That just ain't right.

I'd play golf with the President. *shrugs*

Hell I helped broadcast his inauguration on AP Radio...the radio arm of the state controlled media.

That being said...

Wouldn't vote for the guy if he was the only candidate running in a two party election.

Can't stand what he's turning this country into.

Guess that's what separates normal Americans from the mouth breathing window lickers at the DUmp.

I for one would not play golf with Lord Zero.

Never played golf and have no desire to do so. :)

Meh.  Limbaugh would humiliate him anyway.
