Does anyone think "The Speech"
will affect the average working dem? Do you think it will sway some Joe Sixpack voters to reconsider?

9. There are Republican Joe Sixpacks working for Obama in PA every day...
...Americans are ready to reach our true potential as individuals and as a country - "The Speech" will be heard in a profound way by people of every age, color and socio-economic group.
:lmao: :lmao:
The real "the speech". :cheersmate:

Compare and contrast at your peril DU.

Well it's come to this. :(
Laughing at, jeering at and otherwise over-reading DU nearly every day since the whole "Geraldine Ferraro", "client 9", "Obama's preacher" brew-ha-ha (hahahahahaha) has turned me into a paranoid CT minded DUmmy for a bit. (temporary DUanity) :o
I'm feeling better now and on further reflection of the above thread, I do not think a few random dummies are in fact, trying to steal the classic speech quotes from Reagan's "the speech". I doubt many at DU even know what "A time for the choosing" really was or what it meant to the conservative movement. The comparison is quite absurd and I'm sure now that I was 100% wrong in the OP.
I think I should take a break from reading DU for a long while. (just for my mental health) LOL :-)
