Title: Better Late Than Nevah
Post by: Boudicca on April 28, 2010, 04:48:33 PM: Well, hmm, I'm almost embarrassed to admit I joined up with CC awhile back and just lurked...Didn't peruse other forums outside the DUmpster for quite awhile. Then, had a hiatus with politics after Lord Zero got elected cuz I was so darn p'o'd.
Anyway, I'm a middle aged white women who apparently became a racist when I refused to get behind Lord Zero after the bitter primary season. Yes, I admit I did vote for Hillary. I voted for McCain, love Sarah Palin although I don't agree with some of her social positions. I'm probably more of an Indie since I am a social liberal and fiscal conservative, although apparently I'm not even totally a liberal since the illegal alien issue pushes ALL my buttons. But, I was so angry about the last election I went and re-registered as a R and figure anyone has got to be better than Zero.

Personally, I've been married to the same wonderful guy for 25 plus years, served 6 years in the Army, have 2 kids, one grandkid, four dogs and eight cats. I love animals ALOT, my country even more and my family foremost.

Glad I found this place; the pc of the D party was choking the crap out of me.

Thanks, gotta admit I'm loving the head spinning going on over at the DUmp trying to justify the same policies they absolutely flayed GWB over!

Ain't that the truth. I loathe the open border policy we have in effect. AFAIC, the federal government is failing to defend its own citizens and would rather cater to the frikking illegals than us, the voters. Actually, if they enforced the border, they wouldn't be catering to us voters, they'd be doing their dang jobs.

Thanks, I have problems with those same issues!
I think I probably am NOT a liberal, unless we're talking gay rights since I could care less if they get married or not; if someone breaks up my marriage it's not gonna be because DH found another man. Also, I do believe a woman has a right to choose for a very limited amount of time (24-hour pill).
Otherwise, nope, grew up in a family that qualified for food stamps and my parents would send us to school instead with pb/j sandwiches. They would have rather died, I think, than accept a handout!

The past election season taught me ALOT about myself. Like you, I had no idea I was a racist until the Obama thugs enlightened me. :whatever:
