Title: Hello. I'm Tiny1

Greetings. I am Tiny1.  I am an Independent Conservative from NC.  I frequent a couple of other conservative boards and thought I'd see what you folk have to say.  I have lived through 11 Presidents and this is the worst one yet.  I never thought I'd say that after Carter.  I am not intellectual, but I feel I have some common sense.  I am a Christian, gun totin', tea baggin', neocon who is terribly concerned for my posterity. I am not a pacifist,and I support our military 100%.  Enough about me.  :-)

Before NAFTA,that was the furniture capital of the world.  I live about an hour west of there.

It's still a great place to buy furniture. When we moved to our current house, we went over to Furnitureland of the South to buy furniture. I had looked at stuff here, to know the costs, then we went there. What we got was 50-75% less! Our bedroom furniture was about 60% less.  :-)

Well I am glad you got your money's worth.  Too many times,we pay way too much for what we receive.
High Point was always good quality.

Hi Tiny and welcome!  NC is a wonderful place . . . my husband and I have been vacationing on Hatteras Island since '88 and, until recently, my bro-in-law/family lived in a beautiful woodsey area in Durham.

I think a lot of us have had this experience. I mean, who would have thought it would be possible? I suppose it's the difference between being forced to eat shit and being forced to drink poison.
