If you weren't around when DUmmy TruthIsAll was proving statistically that every Republican election win since Theodore Roosevelt was due to fraud, you missed one of the main reasons we call 'em DUmmies. He got too loony even for the DUmp, but he's still around:

"Proving Election Fraud" by Rich Charnin (TruthIsAll)
Stock deals are rigged for insiders. Big money runs Congress. And we've gone to war based on a series of calculated lies.
Are you willing to accept the fact that our elections are subject to the same type of corruption?
If you are, then Proving Election Fraud by Richard Charnin pulls back the curtain and exposes the pattern of election fraud over the past four decades. It's not a mystery when your look at the numbers and check them against multiple public sources. The information is all there - if the experts care to look.
Charnin is the widely known internet poster using the name TruthIsAll. He was the first to discover the glaring discrepancies in the 2004 election results shortly after the polls closed. His internet posts on the mathematical impossibility of a Bush victory were critical in fueling the doubts about that election and those that followed.
His many posts are the basis for a consistent narrative and argument using a clearly outlined and heavily quantified analysis. The result is a wealth of information about how elections really work and a methodology (the True Vote Model) that allows the interested reader to check the official results of any national or state election.
Charnin's straightforward style fits his subject matter. For example, early on he makes a powerful point, one of many that appear throughout the book:
"Simple mathematics proves that the 1968, 1988, 2004 and 2008 elections were fraudulent. The returning voter mix required for the Final Exit Poll to match the recorded vote was not just implausible -- it was impossible. In each election, more voters from the prior election returned to vote than were alive. The fact that they were returning Nixon, Bush 1 and Bush 2 voters cannot just be a coincidence. The statistical anomaly has no rational explanation other than election fraud." (p.52)
When the official victory margin includes dead voters and excludes uncounted votes, it's more than reasonable to assume election fraud.

Now, he's going way too far when he slanders dead voters! That's the democrat base you're talking about, bub. Without enthusiastic turnouts from Cook County cemeteries, the jug-eared muslim would never have made it to the Senate. His career would have disintegrated, his immigration status may have been uncovered, and today he might be a minor chieftain in some village back in Kenya. Of course, on the bright side, that would probably mean that little Shamalia and Tamalia would be princesses.

2. Decades of uncounted votes - 80 million in all
Think somebody would have made a big deal out of that, and they did but it bears repeating again
and again.
Yep, DUmmy TIA has smoked out 80 million moonbat votes that we tossed into a DUmpster in Warren County, Ohio. For just $10 more, Bev Harris would have had them counted.

65. Tin hat theory
My little tin hate theory is that they didn't want to win because if they did they would be held accountable for the financial mess. They wanted the Dems to take this one on the chin, counting on the sheeple to pay no attention to root causes. Then they would have given themselves, their rich friends and their campaign funds a huge financial boost, destroyed the working class so they would be virtual slaves. Guarantee they will be back in the election stealing business full force in 2012, if not during the upcoming congressional elections.
I have to agree that the GOP gave up on the election when they nominated such a miserable candidate. By comparison, Bob Dole was a spark plug.
I think you can guess the opinion of the dirty, smelly wino bobbolink:

11. Oh, I don't know... people are always willing to say why poor people didn't do this, and didn't do
that. Always a blame, of course.
Poor folk surely wouldn't be so easily absolved of a theft! And certainly not one of that magnitude.

20. And they know they have to allow some DEM years to build up the Treasury
before they pull more raids on it.

43. TIA has posted some of the strongest, best election fraud stats and info
just about anywhere. I wish he was still part of DU, but I learned alot from him and continue to do so. Glad to see he's coming out with a book about it. Unless you get your news from a relatively liberal website, you probably had no idea our last 3 or 4 elections were very likely rigged. I know Keith talked about it for a few days back when he first got popular (and WAY before Rachel) but even he dropped it after those few days. I hope EVERYONE will make themselves familiar with TIA's work so they will know what truly huge odds we still have to overcome.
Anyone who gives attention to TIA's lunatic theories is as crazy as TIA.

TIA: I salute you, and I'm so glad you made it through the darkness to the other side.
Even the DUmpmonkeys knew that, like so many of themselves, TIA was severly mentally ill.

17. In a similar vein, there is also this...........
Civil rights and election fraud: New study asks, 'Was Prop 8 straight?'
Today, the BRAD BLOG is reporting that there's a fair chance Prop 8 was not decided by bigoted voters, but by "fraud or gross errors" in the election. From WasProp8Straight.org:
A new analysis of independent exit polls conducted in L.A. County at the November 2008 election indicates significant likelihood that the official vote counts are incorrect. It is indeed possible that the California state constitution was amended to strip marriage rights of some of the state's people as a result of vote counts that were incorrect and possibly even fraudulent.

36. He appreciates that!
I think DU helped him a great deal too, especially finding out about all the support when he
was laid low.
At the height of his conspiratorial revelations, DUmmy TIA shorted out some neurons, melted a few synapses, and had to spend an extended period in a room with soft walls. Then Skimmer hit him with a granite pizza for being an embarrassment to the DUmp.

44. Answer to "why won't people believe this?": IT'S TOO SCARY FOR THEM Much more comfortable to believe that we live in a true democracy, that our government is honest, and that we live in a pleasant fairy tale. Even though on some level they know differently. I think this suppressed awareness of the ugly truth is one reason why fundamentalism/primitivism in religion, racism, nationalism and everywhere else is on the rise. These are very simplistic black vs white (instead of shades) ways of viewing the world, and they are comforting to those who fear the complicated and problem-laden truth. And fear is always the at the basis of violence. (Even greed has a basis in fear.)
You can be sure that the same people who believe TIA are the lunatics who had barrels of water and dried beans stashed away for Y2K.

54. umm...
I haven't read the book. Maybe he has autographed a copy for me with love, but I haven't seen it. However, I've discussed TIA's arguments with him repeatedly here -- in at least three incarnations, I think four or five. I don't think he makes much sense. And I can't think of anyone else on DU who defends TIA's actual arguments. It seems increasingly hard to find anyone who knows or cares what they are.
Most of the comments in this thread have been along the lines of 'way to go, TIA, stick it to The Man!' If people feel that TIA is sticking it to The Man, that is their prerogative. It kind of makes me sad.
