Cheney backs Rubio in Senate bid
Conservative Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio picked up another high-profile endorsement Thursday when former Vice President Dick Cheney said he was backing the former Florida House speaker over his primary rival Gov. Charlie Crist.
I for one, am glad....Crist sides more with Obama's cronies, than with other conservatives.

I think Rubio will walk away with this, but I'm still worried that Crist will run as an independent.

I saw something today that, in a three-way race, a poll showing Rubio at 37%, Crist at 32%, and the Dem at 22%.

Good. Crist's iffy political point of view doesn't seem to be that big an obstacle as Governor, but he'd make a horrible (R) Senator.

In fact, Cheney said he doesn't know why he keeps the R behind his name... :lmao: Talk about getting called out.

Crist needs a can of STFU and go home. We need fewer of his type and more like Rubio...
-
Does anyone think his support is going to help or hurt his chance?
-
only those who would never have voted for Rubio will try and make hay with it. They will fail.
