The best eyeliner EVAH!
Stila Smudge Pots (I have only tried the black). Use an eyeliner brush that is about 1/4th of an inch wide instead of the pointy kind. I just got it today, I ordered it from Sephora. I tried it out when I got it and i love it. You can "smudge" for a little bit then it sets.
Buy it!

I also bought some other makeup and I'll let you know what I think after I try it.

Hmmmm... I say hmmmmm..... I am very loyal to smashbox, but this looks interesting. :cheersmate:
I don't know about smudging though, I have to be careful, my eyes are so deepset, I don't want them to completely disappear on me.

OMG, I can't believe I even opened this thread. I mostly did because I saw that the only two people who posted were my long-time friends.
Ironically, one of my high school friends on FB tonight was asking for new eyeliner suggestions...since she's been wearing the same for 25 years.
I feel really gay right now....
....I'm going to the strip club. :-)

I thought smudge pots were drums you burned oil in.

Got one in purpel. It is awesome!

if you want to be gahy-er, suggest the smudge pots to her.

I love Smashbox powder, and lipgloss. Do they have really good eyeshadow as well?

I have their brow stuff that I bought when Schade was visiting one time. I didn't like it. I haven't used their eyeshadow.

Thanks for the tip BEG

you don't have to smudge it, just put it on like you usually do. I bought Sephora's brand of foundation called HD (high definition) because it had good reviews. I hope I like it. I also bought a set of brushes plus a foundation brush (and some other makeup). I'll let you know how I like it.

Only oil that you had soaked into tires (Earth Day's coming up, ya know!).
BEG, with a thread title like the one you selected, you knew that some of us would look. Just out of curiousity's sake.

I think some of you men secretly want to be women.

Naah . . . it's called "intelligence gathering." As in, "what to dissuade the wife from buying."

She will win, resistance is futile.

BEG- thank you for the tip on the smudge pots. I have seen those and wondered if they were good. I've used Stila lipgloss before and liked it. For the ladies reading (or guys, if you are into eye makeup), I bought Laura Mercier's eyeliner that is comparable to this. It can be used wet or dry. It's a good product and seems like it will last forever. I have a brush like BEG mentioned (I think). It's angled and works much better than the pointed one she mentioned (have that one too). Paula Dorf makes a really good one. I lost it and bought Sephora's version and it's great too.

Backs out of thread slowly.....
-
Cool! I am leery of those because I have shaky hands and always end up looking like a clown unless I go really slow with the eyeliner. I need eyeliner for dummies.... LOL!

You will love it Dixie. It's not like liquid, you can work with it for a bit before it sets.
The brush I used is the one second from the right, next to the mascara brush (I bought the set shown below).

I bought a new flux-core welder today. Can I start a thread on it? :p

The smudge pots are wet. I have a powder eyeliner that you can use wet or dry by bare escentuals. I have an eyeliner brush that came with it that is angled, it is longer than the eyeliner brush (and thiner) than the one I use with the smudge pots.

I think you just said that so you could feel more manly because you couldn't resist looking in my girly thread.

I was expecting pictures of pillow fights and body shots. Thread does not deliver.

I'm sorry I disappointed you but I told you men not to look. Here is a must buy that even guys will like. Ritz "Flipside" pretzel crackers. Yumma. I have only tried the original. They come in cheddar but I read a review where someone said they didn't like the cheddar.

Who needs cheddar when there's Cheez Whiz?

I think some of you men secretly want to be women.
You found me out..............I want to be a lesbian woman

I have not tried the eyeshadow. I like urban decay and stila for shadows. I especially like the name of urban decay colors. I wear "sin" on my eyes and "fetish" on my cheeks.... :evillaugh:

The stencil kit? That was another brand, wasn't it?

I  Cheez Whiz. And, I don't own any brushes except for my hair brush. I feel so inadequate.

I look forward to it! I need a good line on foundation. I have been wearing the Smashbox Photo Finish stuff and have mixed feelings about it.

The only brush I own is the one I use on my teeth.
Ladies man. Yep.
-
Ok, I take it back. I own two. Tooth Brush, and Hair Brush. I ain't nasty. :-)
-
Yeah, baby.

Backs out of thread slowly.....
Crock I know it is a tad unnerving.... but just think how much fun it would be for you, me, BEG and the others to sit around in our underwear trading make up tips and doing each other's hair. :evillaugh:

So, we all have brushes....just some have more than others....

I have some makeup brushes....but only use one for loose powder and blush.
I don't use foundation or eyebrow stuff, use an eyeliner pencil and sponge tips and my finger for eye shadow... I'm soooo old-fashioned.... :thatsright:

I bought some blush with this last order called orgasm by NARS.

Your eyebrows are the most important part, let them go all crazy like and you might as well just give up.

My current favorite eyeshadows are "nude beach", "honeypot", and "silk teddy" by TooFaced. Subtle and sparkly :naughty:

But I don't have "all crazy like" eyebrows. :bawl:
I have quiet well-behaved eyebrows...that I add a bit of dye to, when I color my hair. If I put eyebrow stuff on them, I look funny....clown-like. :(

I don't do anything with mine. Fortunately, mine are like Deb's and mind very well. Waxing and Tweezing are big ole PITA's.
