My Shopping Adventure At TARGET This Morning....
....Wife and I went to Target to get a few items...we split off at the main entrance to get our list completed quickly and get out of there.
I went to the Home Improvement section to get a new deadbolt lock and drill bit....on my way back almost every aisle I walk past an associate sprung out to ask me......'IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN HELP YOU FIND OR WITH" at each and every time I said No I know what I am looking for Thank you.... Th fifth time it happened it was the stores Manager so I finally had enough of this and said... "I appreciate the enthusiastic willingness of your staff to be helpful but retail stores in an effort to be more profitable over the past 20 years have done a good job training the consumer to find it and help themselves so with that I will find it myself until I see it a measure of being genuine and not a desperate measure to seem to care about the customer as much as what goes in the register at the end of the day"... He said OH!!! thanks for shopping Target like a little ROBOT..

The things that sets these morons off :mental:
I do believe there is a law or something that states if you do not need help at least 12 associates will offer help. If you do need help then no one will be around. :-)

:bouncy:
Points for following the standard bouncy format but the story was lackluster and dull. No conversion, no slack-jawed bystanders. One bong.

Too bad Wally World doesn't have a proper punctuation department (if this really happened).
LibTURDs are amazing. If nobody had offered assistance then he/she/it would be bitching about THAT!

He was pissed because someone was trying to be polite and helpful?
What a miserable low life piece of shit.

I'd rather they ask and not need the help and need the help and have no one around . There have been times I had to go look for help because I couldn't find the item. They always find time to either answer the question as to whhere its at or take you right to it. If liberals could run busnisses like they do bouncies there wouldn't be any of them left around.

I think that is true in every store except for grocery stores.

In the Obama economy not only are the sales associates not busy, they are worried about their jobs.
During the Bush years I couldn't find anybody to help me in the crowded stores.

Go to Wegmans and you would be shocked. They are actually helpful and easy to find.

He was just warming up for a political argument in the checkout line.

Ditto on Publix. The Winn-Dixie near me seems to hire alot of kids that don't care about what they're doing. And most of the time they just ring up your stuff without looking at you and go through the motions without thanking you or even saying "Have a nice day" with a smile. But the Publix near me has people that seem to care. And if you ask where something is they'll walk you right to it. Plus they offer to carry your bags out. Not that I need that, but it's nice to know that the older people have that service available. No wonder Winn-Dixie is in such a financial mess. The concept of customer service isn't very well understood there. I'll drive the extra mile and pay a few dollars more just for that.
Plus the cute cashiers help too. :naughty:

I got some seriously good deals at Publix. $4 a pound for prime rib roast (2- and 3-bone). Good stuff. I noticed the one on the corner also sells imported English candy. No Quality Street, but I'll take a box of chocolate Smarties over M&Ms in a heartbeat.
