What the hell has happened with this crazy Republican Party??
Why do they hate America?
Why do they continue to act like ****ing fools??
Why are they so frigging stupid?
Must they be against everything under heaven?
Now they are taking the side of the Big Bankers and Wall Street. If they can't agree to do something about those crooks, what can they agree with the Democrats on?
And they want other fools to vote them back into power?? So they can do what??
Nothing?
I'll be happy with stopping Dear Reader, He of the Big Ears.

2. The loonies are in control.
They hate America because a Democratic administration is in charge--and he's not the same color they are.
They continue to act like fools because they think others will admire them.
They are stupid because they have learned very well how to deny reality and facts and simply accept whatever their leaders tell them. It's so much easier that way!
They are against everything because it makes them feel strong, and because it's far easier than thinking of solutions.
They would rather die than side with the Dems, no matter how much good it would be for them.
They want to be back in power so that they can proceed to do NOTHING except start more wars. They don't believe government really needs to do anything except "defend" the country.
The inmates are now in charge over at the GOP and the rest of them are afraid to lift a finger to stop them. They'll be very sorry after the next election when they lose more seats. And they are really stuck and can't do anything about it. Anyone who dares to say anything gets shouted down immediately and made to apologize!
What will it take for them to run out of steam? Maybe a nice sound defeat next fall.
That bolded statement shows that the gin swilling primitive (with a half full wine (whine?) glass as an avatar) does not live within a few time zones of reality. But still, more projection.

3. I really think we should capitalize on the Wall Street vs Main Street issue.
Edited on Sat Apr-17-10 12:53 AM by vixengrl
If they are outraged about "takeovers" and bail-outs, they should be positively screaming mad about preserving a system that habitually results in them,, which is the de-regulated and monopolistic bullshit we're in right now.
But wait--they are the ones who mostly initiated the deregulation, and as of 2008 (Grampy McCain advised by Phil Gramm) were still all about less regulation being the way forward, even after the collapse of 2008 revealed that Wall Street was full of punks playing with investors' money and getting pretty rich while even...losing.
Dems need to get proactive with getting stories out there, and letting it be known that dirty money from banking lobbyists encourage asshats like Mitch (Neck drape) McConnell to try and defend them from regulation--when:
Oh shit, it's deregulation that lets greed take over and results in breaking the banks.
And,
Oh, double shit, it's the government who bailed out the loans and thrifts in the early 90's (Bush I) nd in 2008 (Bush II), so maybe the anger should be--at the GOP? And the interest should be with the people who want to promote consumer protections that keep investors from being wallet-raped. No more of this Ayn Rand enlightened self-interest of robber barons bullshit, let's promote the idea that maybe, since the money the banks are playing with is the people's, the people's representatives in government have a responsibility to keep them from getting soaked.
Neck Drape screwed up listening to lobbyists before deciding to announce that he thought the Financial Reform was going to lead to new bail-outs. And actually, I am *glad* he's got 41 GOp-ers supporting his pathetic protection of where the donation cash is coming from--
We can use that.
That party is the party of bank failures and robber barons--pass it the hell on. They own the bail-outs, and they started the corruption. It was their Bush-appointed SEC folks who didn't recognize Madoff or Goldman-Sachs' transgressions.
This is their failures. They can eat them.
It's not the system DUmbshit, it's the politicians that see a way to increase their power. If something fails, let it die. Someone will step in and rebuild. But apparently, if it isn't the government, DUmmies have no idea how it could happen.
Oh yeah. Grammar fail there at the end, especially for one of the Smartest People in the Worldâ„¢.

5. I could be wrong because I am getting old and my memory
fails me at times but I remember something different no so long ago. I remember flag waving, love my country everything is grand except we need to kill some people. They can't stand liberals being in control. It literally drives them crazy. If they can't get their way it's temper tantrum time. Did we act like that for those horrible 8 yrs?
No. You and your ilk were worse.

10. I doubt you will get any disagreement on that?
George W Bush and the Republicans ****ed up this country royally. Honestly, I had little hope that Barack Obama or the Democrats could do anything to fix it. Now, in my opinion, there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon. Only a fool would vote to put the Republicans back into power at this time. How much proof do they need to see. The last eight years were the most incompetent any of us have ever seen. To deny that is being totally dishonest.
And the present Idiot in Chief has taken eight years of Bush idiocy and crammed it into any eight day period of his tenure that you want to pick.

22. there's some guy on twitter that seems to think the dems acted the same way.
when i told him they didn't, he said i wasn't paying attention. i told him dems weren't walking around carrying guns and threatening violence that i recall. and i WAS paying attention. i told him also that trying to justify it with the 'they did it too' defense doesn't work.
Obviously you didn't pay too much attention.

I've always felt that way.
The tasty burger primitive shows his complete lack of historical knowledge.

This country wasn't broke until the democrats tried to fix it.

I saw something on RedState on Friday that Stu Rothenburg--a Dem-leaning pollster--now has projected that the House will flip in the 2010 elections. This came out on April 16th, DUmb****s. The anger is building into a tsunami that will make the Bander Aceh Christmas tsunami of 2004 look like a ripple in a kiddie pool, by comparison.

Conservatives argue against price controls, excessive regulations and punitive taxes.
Conservatives argue against bailouts, subsidies and favoritism.
What liberals refuse to acknowledge is that both of these positions are steeped in the observation that the corrupting influence of government power should be kept to a minimum and the market should be allowed to stand or fall on its own merits so long is there is no force or fraud because it is the consumer and employee who ultimately votes for the best business with their feet and wallets.
Liberals refuse to argue these points of this position because they have no argument beyond "you love money, you hate people, bah-blah-blah..."
Children should be put to work doing the dishes and taking out the garbage; not voting.
-
Far Left Democrats and Liberals own a very twisted and contradictory ideology. If they were to look in a mirror it surely would be the fun-house variety, distorting what they see to match their thought processes. They think they look fine.
But it must be hard being such a paradox of self-aggrandizement and self-loathing:
"I make my money because of capitalism. I hate capitalism."
"I'm superior than all of you. I am filled with liberal guilt."
"You're all racists. I bring race into every subject when logic or proper mental faculty cannot win my point."
"I am an intellectual elitist. I really only go to a fourth tier state college."
"I'm an American. I hate America."
I would be a bit crazed too if my head was that convoluted. And here's a perfect example...

I know people who are still stuck on "Democrats are for the people and Republicans are for the rich"
Those $30,000 a couple fundraisers Obama holds are all poor people I guess.

I hear a lot of talk, but an absolute unwillingness to realize why these people ("Adminisrites")think fundamentally different than you.. and me. It is pure and it is simple. They feel this system, this way of life, is broken at the most intrinsic levels. Actually? Listen to them. They thought it was wrong from the onset and needs to be totally revamped. I don't even fear for my money at this point -- I fear for my safety. They have a willingness to not only crush the economic sphere, but have an overwhelming willingness to abandon everything that has kept this nation from being internationally weak. People need to stop patting themselves on the back and come up with solutions. I live outside Detroit and am forced to watch a commercial about how diligent GM was in paying back the money they should have never received in the first place. God forbid a union worker loses his or her job. Well, what about those of us in Michigan who do constitute the 15% unemployed. This is THE poster state for failed Democratic policy.
-
I live outside Detroit and am forced to watch a commercial about how diligent GM was in paying back the money they should have never received in the first place.
They did not pay it back. They just borrowed more government money to pay back the other loan. They are at least $50 billion in debt and losing millions daily, they will likely never pay it back. The TV ads are probably a violation of the "truth in advertising" laws, the FTC is not happy.
I totally understand your point, this country is being systematically looted, not just economically but morally and socially.

Apparently you must hit them hard enough to dint their craniums, or else it is not "sinking in"....

2. The loonies are in control.
THEY certainly are....
They hate America because a Democratic administration is in charge--and he's not the same color they are.
I could care less if he were white, black, brown, yellow, red, purple, or poka-dot. I hate this Demoncratic administration because he doesn't know what the hell he is doing, and everybody knows it, (except DUmmies)....
They continue to act like fools because they think others will admire them.
Yes you do, and we admire you for your comic relief....
They are stupid because they have learned very well how to deny reality and facts and simply accept whatever their leaders tell them. It's so much easier that way!
Classic DUmmie projection. DUmmies couldn't find "reality" if it were their ass, and they stuck both hands in their back pockets....
They are against everything because it makes them feel strong, and because it's far easier than thinking of solutions.
We are against everything LIBERAL because it makes America weak, and the solutions we propose don't require 2,500 pages and 15 new government mandates....
They would rather die than side with the Dems, no matter how much good it would be for them.
We'd rather die than side with DIMS, because nothing you propose is ANY good for ANYONE....
They want to be back in power so that they can proceed to do NOTHING except start more wars. They don't believe government really needs to do anything except "defend" the country.
Sometimes, the greatest thing a government can do is NOTHING. I happen to believe the second sentence. Even a blind DUmmie will find the truth occasionally, even by accident....
The inmates are now in charge over at the GOP DNC and the rest of them are afraid to lift a finger to stop them. They'll be very sorry after the next election when they lose more seats. And they are really stuck and can't do anything about it. Anyone who dares to say anything gets shouted down immediately and made to apologize!
Fixed....
What will it take for them to run out of steam? Maybe a nice sound defeat next fall.
It's what I'm hoping for, for the DNC and Lord Zero....

The ruling Socialists in Hungary were routed in the elections, they recieved about 15% of the vote.
We could hope.
