Is this Diet Mountain Dew commercial sexist?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MieEfkwICB8

All I know is Diet Dew tastes awful.

I looked at the advertisement on youtube; of course, I couldn't hear the dialogue.

The only "sexism" I found in it is that men are four times more likely than women, to be struck by lightning.

Lightning must be sexist then.

1. I was wondering about the Cialis commercial... such pretty music, such happy people, oh me oh my it works for up to 36 hours. I know this is a serious issue for some, but to pound it daily (if I may use that phrase) into the American psyche is annoying in the extreme.

Nice touch with the faucet spraying all over the place.... sick bastards.

It's a new bonfire, just gotten underway.

It must be sad to try to find a political issue (victimhood) in everything. :mental:

It's all they live for. It's their basic reason for existance.  :mental:

I have seen that commercial, and I honestly don't even see HOW they can get anything "sexist" out of that  :mental:

Are they saying it is sexist (to men) because they are 4 times more likely than women to get struck by lightning???

If so, how STOOPID.

I liked it.  Well, nobody really thought those pathetic basement-dwelling wannabe-Socialist-automatons actually had senses of humor, did they?

If only Obama had done the commercial it could have been both sexist and racist. :-)

They have to find a boogeyman in everything. It reminds me of a movie board on which I used to hang out. They'd sit around analyzing every scene for its political content and symbolism. One of them swore that Danny Devito's Penguin character in Batman Returns represented the Jewish plot to take over the world. :mental:

The skumbag primitive, the generous non-benefactor of the J.P. Morgan heir in Connecticut, speaks:

3. That makes no sense. Men get struck by lightning more because women are smart enough...

to come in out of the rain during a thunder storm.

Is this commercial saying that women are stupid, but god hates men?

Or that women know they're immune to lightning and can afford to take risks?

Men are more likely to be struck by lightning because they are more likely to engage in outdoor activities than women.

Is it bad that I laughed at that?

This is why the modern feminist movement needs to just go away.  They see discrimination where there is none.  They talk about being liberal, but in reality, they are a bunch of uptight and bitter old hags.  They make a big deal out of something that, in THIS woman's eyes, is NOT sexist.   I found it rather stupid, but for different reasons.  Plus, I hate Mountain Dew anyway.  :p

That, and the fact that they would probably never have a chance with any woman who looked remotely like those women . . .

Sexist? WTH is wrong with that bunch?  :whatever: And even if it was on either side, there is nothing wrong with being a little self-deprecating now and then and having some fun with it.
