The eight Houston coffee party members who attended the strategic planning team meeting at Coffee Groundz in Midtown Saturday were adamant that their group isn't simply the left's alternative to the tea party. Anyone is welcome to join.

Of the seven people who met midday at Oregon Trail Roasting Co. at 201 W. Main St. in Belleville (IL), only three had a cup of coffee. One drank a Fitz's root beer.
