The site says it is the project of a nationwide network of Democrats, Republicans, and independents who are sick of the tea party movement. But its creator, Jason Levin, says he is just a 36-year-old technology educator from Portland, Ore. He is thrilled that his idea went viral, thanks to Hannity.

So Jason Levin is the total moron who put together the “Crash the Tea Party†web site. Levin is not your garden variety moron though. I mean it takes a pretty impressive level of idiocy to attempt to covertly infiltrate the biggest and most widely covered political movement in the country at the moment using a publicly available web site to provide details and solicit support for your plan. This idea is so completely idiotic that when I first heard about it I figured Levin would turn out to be an internet marketer and that this was really just a PR ploy. But alas, it seems he really is just stupid.
However, since Levin is now getting some media coverage for his little scheme – from the AP and TPM among others – I decided to dig around a bit and see if I could add anything interesting to the public record on Mr. Levin. (Not surprisingly, Free Republic was the first to expose Levin’s real identity and has dug up a lot of other useful information about him.)
What I managed to find is Levin’s personal blog on Blogger, which unfortunately (if not surprisingly) seems to have been recently blocked from public view. Equally regrettable, the site is also excluded from Google’s web caching feature so it is impossible to view any full pages on his site.

However, by using the partial text results from this Google search, along with a Digg post, and some guesswork on key words, I’ve been able to uncover the gist of a blog post of Levin’s from May 2008 entitled “My Personal Political Manifestoâ€. Lars Larson has already captured and documented several updates to his web site that were completed from the school district's IP address's and during weekday school hours.
The school is playing it down while the ****tard is on administrative leave.
The school district admins and the school itself have been bombarded with complaints against this asshole but they are all in hiding. Only because the shit IS hitting the fan big time and the admins are doing everything they can to cover their asses because of his behavior.
I have no doubt that his career is ruined now and he will be hung out to dry.
What we NEED to do, is after he is hung out to dry and loses his income sources, find a way to go after him and politically, professionally, and financially DEVASTATE him so that he will NEVER recover from this shit.
Hopefully the ****tard will spend the remainder of his life poor, living in a dump apartment and working at a minimum wage job.

Jason Levin, the middle school teacher behind the Crash The Tea Party project, is dismissing claims that he misused his position to organize the scheme.
Levin is currently on a paid leave from the Beaverton, Oregon school district where he works while school officials investigate charges that he used school time and equipment to create the website CrashTheTeaParty.org. He told me his attorneys have advised him not to do any interviews while the investigation runs its course. But in a written statement he emailed me this morning, Levin said the charges are without merit.
"Any allegation that I used school district equipment or district time to create or maintain the website is completely and totally false," Levin wrote. "The fact that teachers are held to a higher standard when excercising their right to free speech (in their private lives) is patently unfair."
In a sign that the hullabaloo the project has caused is getting to him, however, Levin has offered the site up for sale -- cleaning his hands of the tea party infiltration plan that drew the ire of conservatives across the country, including Sean Hannity.

Beaverton's "Crash the Tea Party" teacher resigns as his dismissal loomed
Jason Levin resigned Wednesday in lieu of termination, said Beaverton School District Legal Counsel Camellia Osterink.
District officials would not say why Levin was facing dismissal, but that it followed an internal investigation into his use of public resources and time spent at school.
It's not over for Levin yet. The Teacher Standards and Practices Commission, which oversees teacher licensing, is continuing its investigation into possible neglect of duty, said Melody Hanson, director of professional practices.
Despite his resignation, the agency can revoke or suspend his license, issue a public reprimand or keep him from reapplying for a license in the future.

Beaverton is about 50 miles north of where I live. Upon hearing about this ass-hat's antics earlier in the year, I promptly wrote the school district and stated my disapproval of his activities AND, that I would use any means to eliminate school district funding and school district management employees in ANY manner I could if they allowed this moron to continue his antics using taxpayer resources.
I never received an answer. Apparently the Beaverton School District received thousands of complaints and threats of legal action not just from local persons, but from across the nation.
Lars Larson highlighted this ass-hat's actions on several of his daily broadcasts. Apparently the public/parental outrage was so great, especially pertaining to recalling school district council members, the only choice was to terminate this ass-hat.
Oh, and Lars Larson was able to prove, using public web logs for this ass-hat's web site, that Levin did indeed modify & update his personal web site and send anti-Tea Party e-mail using school district resources (computers et al.).
Using our tax dollars to bastardize our children's education and to support HIS PERSONAL political agenda.
