Live blogging from Karl Rove event in KC
We've been here an hour. The event starts in 40 minutes.
Nobody but white folks. Average age is about 50.
My camera's ready for the darker skinned people to show up . . .
Taking lots of pictures. Will post later.
Oh FWIW a guy who testified on behalf of Scott Roeder at his sentencing hearing is here. Yes I got a picture.

2. How many people are there?
Hard to believe anyone would contribute to this war criminal's bank account. They always have enablers, these war criminals, down through history.

4. 3000 ~ well, it's better than 20,000 but still far too many contributing to the little turdball.
Has he arrived yet? I hope you get some photos.

I will be following this. Thanks for being there and giving us the lowdown.
Yeah, the whole world's watching, with baited breath.

They should be thrown in jail. Why is it the left cannot stand to allow freedom of speech and freedom of expression and freedom of assembly of those who disagree with them?

9. LOL!
I hope he becomes a prisoner of his own making.
Can't go out much.
Has to be escorted through back doors.
Probably can't even go shopping without a disguise.
I love it!

The bolded sounds racist. If you go to DU's gallery page it almost sounds like a description of the DUmp.

And remember, Die alte Sau herself is 57 years old, and her husband, 73.
We're not talking spring chickens here.

Photographs up now.
Arrest failed.
Different link, though.

7. Hey Peggy
We tried. There were 15 or 20 of us there. It sure was fun.
-
If anybody finds any local (Kansas City, Missouri) news sources with stories of the event, please link them here, so we may compare them with Die alte Sau's allegements.
-
Ha ha ha... it's all over the place. Take your pick.

They should have been thrown in jail for a week for disrupting the event and attempting to deny someones civil rights.

So you didn't even see Teh Rove, let alone get anywhere near him. But it "sure was fun" standing around diddling yourself and holding your sign. That's pretty pathetic. Reminds me of Animal House:
Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.

Since it seems to be the same person over and over he should get a restraining order.
Better yet, hire a couple of female(just to head off any accusation of male bullying) security staff to throw a few elbows next time they get too close. I'd pay to see that.

Or some feisty old lady sittin behind them will grab one by the hair and yank her ass back into the seat and kindly tell her to STFU

Well we know that Anne is a liar.
Last summer there was a tea party rally in Troy MI. Two local news vans covered the event (WDIV and ABC). They sat in the van until it was over and most of the people had left. They then got out with the cameras showing a sparse crowd.
We know your tricks Pritchett.

Okay, let's see what the Sunday morning Kansas City newspapers have to say.
I'm not so sure Die alte Sau isn't lying about some things, but I have no idea yet what those lies are.
We'll see.
-
Lets have some of our better legal minds weigh in here
If code pink actually ( Citizen ) arrested Rove, could he turn around and sue for false arrest or false imprisonment if said arrest turned out to be not warranted???

He would more likely press kidnapping and assault charges.

Just did a google news search, as well as searched the Kansas City Star.
Found a couple of stories, but nothing about arresting Darth Rove.

I always thought the Pittster suffered from cranial rectosis, now I know why....
He took someone seriously when he was told to go "fornicate" himself.... :rotf:

Will Pitt filed his live blog from Boston today. It generated about 8 comments of no note from the DUmmies, with limited rave reviews about how side-splitting hilarious is was. I went over and briefly read it. He claims the anti "baggers" outnumbered the teapartiers by 2-1. Other, credible sources disagree.
Tellingly, at 11:15 in the morning, he says he "needs a drink."
Also tellingly, he started two, count 'em, two threads about the same thing. Whore.
Here it is if you care. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x8148091)

The Pittster is so yesterday! Unfortunately somebody forgot to clue him in.
Get a REAL job Willy! Oh, BTW, any pedo accusations lately?

I wonder how often Pitt is up and about by 11:15. That's hangover time.

Actually, from personal experience and listening to other recovering alcoholics, 2 AM seems to be about the time that the drunk wears off--and one wakes up. Now, the only reason I wake up at 2 AM is because The Heiress is crying from a bad dream.
