Not only that but he got his diploma from a Seminary!
Sean Hannity is most probably the only Fox anchor without a college degree.
So what genius does this high school diploma come up with? Hannidate! A service to match republican singles!

Degrees and where you get them have a Hell of a lot more to do with your class origins than they do with actual intelligence or anything else of substance. Kind of an odd criticism to be coming from a bunch of people who are supposedly against class distinctions.

Sean Hannity is not an attorney. He does only have a high school diploma. He used to work in construction.
Makes no difference however as he is far more well read and informed than 99.9999% of the DU.
Oh and newsflash to them, Bill Gates only has a high school diploma also.....

The link that I posted to said that he had honorary doctorates from 2 different universities, but I never found anything from any source stating that he is an attorney. I could swear he was :thatsright:, but maybe not.

As someone who also only has a high school diploma I say good for him.
He has made himself a good living by being hard working and dedicated to a profession.
It is no shock that seeing someone gain prominence and wealth by their own actions and efforts would be regarded with scorn by the primitives.
If only they took that kind of initiative in life but then they might lose their favorite hobby of whining and complaining. :banghead:

My Father never even made it into High School since he dropped out in 8th grade to help his own family get by. He enlisted into the Navy during WWII, learned a trade and worked his ass off to raise a family and provide all that we could ever want. He may not have been "book smart" but he was a smart man.
I've known a lot of smart, happy and successful people who never attended college and I've known some idiots that hold advanced degrees. Just look at the DUmp and find all the Ph d.'s who don't have a grasp of the simplest concepts.

What you're so pissy about DUmmie is that you spent thousands of dollars you have to repay on some obscure degree you can't use in the real world and you're stuck at some job you hate because no one wants to hire you on your Antarctic Entomology Degree no matter how killer your Doctorate Thesis was.
And here is Hannity with a H.S. Diploma and he's a self made millionaire to boot.

These same celebrity "thinkers" that the DUmmies hold in such high regard aren't even as smart or driven to finish their education as Hannity was.
Everything is relative to Liberals. If Hannity was on Air America and not Fox...the fact he only has a H.S. Degree would be held up as a great American success story.

what qualifications do they expect a talking head needs ..to read news? Hannity does have a pretty wide range of knowledge about history.
most of the blow hards on ABC, CBS, NBC etc, are over educated idiots who dont know diddly about much outside of New York. who cares?

honestly, the older I get, the more I meet self made people who either ditched college or never went - and their lives are just as productive and wealthy as they desired. maybe more so.. cause they had nothing to prove.
in fact, my husband comes from this tiny town in Canada.. most of those people arent college educated, but they know a whole lot about oil. there are a lot of millionaires in overalls living there. education is not the be all end all.

They're all just jealous!!!! Sean's background and evident success takes away their argument about not being able to make it in the real world without a famous last name or trust fund or college degree. They really hate that. :-)

What they really hate is the fact that Hannity earned the success on Fox News Channel, and not on Air America.

I'd like to add, if he received his basic education in a seminary, his "high school diploma" is likely to have inculcated him with the working equivalent of an undergrad degree. Unlike the current U.S. public high school diploma, which Jethro Bodine could easily have earned.

Maybe you're confusing him with his friend Neal Boortz, who was an attorney. Or Mark Levin, who I think still practices law.
