Post by: Thor on April 06, 2010, 08:22:52 AM
One probably needs to have quite a few "geek points" in order to do this.... This looks really interesting.

It's ALWAYS interesting and FUN to try new Operating Systems...... I liked Linux, but  it didn't have much plug n play capabilities and not a lot of compatibility with peripherals, programs, etc.

I have the one laptop. I am NOT putting another OS on it because I'll probably mess something up.

Ya doofus......... it loads through a CD and runs from that CD. Kind of like Linux can do. That said, the CD I downloaded apparently had some file transfer errors, so it got to the main screen and stopped. I may play with it when I have some more time.

What is tethering?
I hate cell phones.  I don't use them.  Phones are for making phone calls, not all this other happy shit. :old:

If i didnt spell it right sorry :(

But it means (not that i would do something evil like this  :uhsure:) that you can hook up a Laptop/desktop computer wirelessly to a droid phone using a hack and its like a wifi hotspot, allowing you to get unlimited bandwith for the low low price of 30 bucks instead of allowing Verizon to F#$K you for 60 bucks a month and only getting 5gig of Bandwith.
