But I would like to add that he thread reeks of bated anticipation from the DUmbasses.
They would love nothing better than to see gunfire erupt between the protester--whom they hate--and the cops--whom they also hate--and better yet, the military--whom they loathe.
They want the cops and military to do their killing of political foes for them.
THAT'S cowardice.

They'll either say the protesters were too cowardly or inept to follow through with the "coup," or the threat of law enforcement and the military (who they suddenly have a newly found love and respect for) kept the rabble in check.
Only DUmbasses can create a threat out of thin air, create an imaginary reponse to that threat, then as you say, "declare victory."
