Title: Obama: Tea Party features 'core group' against him
Post by: thundley4 on March 31, 2010, 10:13:32 AM
Quote
President Barack Obama says he believes the Tea Party is built around a "core group" of people who question whether he is a U.S. citizen and believe he is a socialist.
But beyond that, Obama tells NBC he recognizes the movement involves "folks who have legitimate concerns" about the national debt and whether the government is taking on too many difficult issues simultaneously.

In an interview broadcast Tuesday on NBC's "Today" show, Obama said he feels "there's still going to be a group at their core that question my legitimacy." But he said he didn't want to paint Tea Party activists "in broad brushes" and he hopes to win over members who have "mainstream, legitimate concerns."
Breitbart (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9EP4BT00&show_article=1)

Broad brushes are exactly what he is using.  :censored:  The birthers are only a very small part of the TEA Party. If they were a larger part, the MSM would focus on those signs at every rally. However , Lord Zero is correct in thinking that most consider him to be a socialist, but that is the truth.

And he will not win over those with legitimate concerns as long as he is bent on destroying the economy.

I know of NO ONE who doesn't think he's a citizen. I know of a few who still question the "natural born" citizen status.

Dear Leader, I can't wait to vote your ass out of office and fix this mess YOU created.

Best wishes,

"Core" Tea Party member with legitimate concerns.

He's taking this too personally.  I am against the idealogy regardless of who is promoting it.

He is just not that important.  The damage he and his supporters can do is.

I don't know if he's a citizen. I'm not going to say that he's NOT one, but he's worked so hard to keep stuff secret that I have no way of knowing for sure either way.

Personally, if people were telling me that they refused to believe me until I presented a long-form birth certificate I would simply present a long-form birth certificate. I've actually had to present it several times in the past.

Exactly! I had to show one when I returned to PA from Va to get a PA drivers license. I sure didn't spend millions not to show it.

His ego is way too large.  I know a few people that are now in the Tea Party that VOTED for him.   :whatever:

I still await something he does that shows me he, personally, all by himself, is as "smart" as the zombies say.
