I live in NJ and I am living in a Republican hell
word of warning to those that see no difference between the Dems and the GOP- COME LIVE AND WORK IN NJ! Repuke Chris Christie has forced the lay off of thousands of teachers (he loves to attacking their union) by cutting off nearly all state money for education.
State union workers and teacher unions workers and all municipal and county workers are being forced to take a pay cut to refill the pension fund the GOP raided.
If you are not well off forget college as repuke Chris Christie has raised tuition out of reach to all but the wealthy
Be thankful of the Dems HCR, you need it here as Chris Christie is gutting the environment laws and mass transit
So next time you say or do something to undermine the Democratic party, consider what it's like to live under the new more radical GOP rule- IT'S HELL ON EARTH
:ohnoes: :overreaction:
This truly has to be one of the funniest things I have ever read on DU! Beware if you come to NJ -- look where you are walking because you might trip over the hoardes of unemployed NJEA teachers, state/county/municipal workers, mass transit personnel, etc. living in the streets because that of that nasty Chris Christie -- hate that guy! :-)

Christie is just willing to take some of the hard steps needed to try and get the NJ budget under control. That means fighting the unions.

I don't know that those words have ever been used in that order in the history of the English language.

NJnutwad, if you're a teacher in NJ, you should resign because you are too damned illiterate to hold that job, your salary is a theft from the school district's coffers every payday.
And as far as cutting off all state money goes, as hellacious as property taxes are in NJ, you don't need them. What you need is school district reform, but the teachers' unions are dead set against aligning them by county and would rather have a couple of hundred of them with all the overhead that entails than spend the money on an economically rational system.

Well, I think we can agree that New Jersey would be a living hell. The only good thing to come out of New Jersey is the "Russian In The Woods" episode.
-
Apparently there would be no NJ budget problem had the Democrats won.

Last time I looked, Gov. Christie was the only Republican in NJ.......

Unpossible. Somebody in New Joisey had to stuff the ballot box for Gov. Christie. Unless he was the only one at the controls of the VRWC Diebold computer that night he was (s)elected. [/DUmmy]

I'm pretty sure Paulie Gualtieri and Silvio Dante are Republican. Well, at least Silvio is. Paulie's a nut.

While that may be true, I'm pretty sure that the guy who plays Silvio Dante is not a Republican.

Well, just because he plays with Springsteen doesn't necessarily mean he's a Dem. Although he probably is.

Trust me--he is a Dem. I think Garry Tallent may be a Republican, and supposedly Nils Lofgren is a Republican, too.

Those Springsteen moonbats are just Sil's day job. It saves him money when they play the Bada Bing.

Steve Doocy's probably a republican. Those pictures of Bones were damned funny.
