At least 41 people were killed in two explosions that hit the Moscow metro during rush hour Monday, local news agencies reported.
The first hit the Lubyanka Metro Station in central Moscow about 7:56am local time (3:56am GMT), Russian news agency ITAR-TASS reported. Twenty-six were killed and 15 people were injured.
Sky News reported that a second explosion hit the Park Kultury station, three stations away on the same line, about 30 minutes later. AFP reported at least 15 people were killed.
RIA Novosti reported that a security source told the agency the Lubyanka station was hit by a bomb.
Interfax, quoting a Russian security source, reported the first blast may have been caused by a suicide bomber.

This means that the Russian security forces will be doing their usual scorched-earth "investigation."
Good for them, actually.

One of these attacks was at the Lubyanka Station--the home of the Russian Federal Security Service . . .

It could have been worse.
They could have broken a couple of windows or cut the line to Putin's BBQ grill.

Seeing Russia is just as susceptible to islamic terror attacks, one has to question their wisdom with enabling Iran to make nuclear bombs...

When Iran gets a bomb, they will use it. So....Russia is just helping them create a plausible excuse for the rest of the world to flatten Iran?
-
I don't think they're that smart, Reb, I think the Russkiis see the Kavkaz movement as a separate issue from Iranian Shi'a-supported terror attacks on the Western powers, so they have about as good an appreciation of the level of threat as the Clinton administration did. And we know how that turned out.

Ragheads killing Russians, and Russians killing ragheads. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

That sounds like a plan. But if there is a nuke exchange in the middle east do you think Israel is going to stop with Iran? It would be their last chance to whack Damascus and a bunch of other places too. If the Iranians do it, I hope they wipe every major Muslim city off the map.

I read an acticle somewhere that these 2 women were part of a group of 30 jihadist that were trained in Turkey. 9 have blown themselves up so far so that leaves 20/21 to go.
