They are in typical DUmp hysterics about right wing "terrorism" and this little jewel pops up.

Seriously Cantor is no different than that girl who carved a "B" in her face and blamed Dems for it
All he wanted to do was stir up trouble when it has been followers of HIS party that have been committing the violence. What Cantor 'claimed' today only stoked the fire of hate groups like the Tea Baggers looking for every excuse to attack democrats. He is a liar, just like that girl who carved the backwards "B" in her face and blamed it on Obama campaign supporters.

12. This is all ridiculous. As if it would make the threats against Democrats okay
even if it *had* been true.
What disgusting tactics they are trying to use.

13. It was fired into the air, and came down through the window pane -- but not the blinds -- of a...
...conference room in a building in which one of Cantor's political consultants has an office.
Yeah, the shooter was targeting poor Eric because of his faith alright.

4. He's a ****ing opportunist
And he's an idiot too. He could not have conceived that the cops can tell the diff between a randomly fired bullet and an actual targeted shot?
What a moron.

10. Eric Cantor is worst than the girl
When you are an elected Congressman, you are held to a higher standard.
WTF?

15. well actually he IS different than her-
he's an elected official and in a position of authority.
If indeed the police know that this was not an act of intimidation or intentional violence, shouldn't he be charged?
Shouldn't THEY come out and refute his lie?
Why aren't we calling for that?
I am NOT defending him- please understand that-
Didn't the Police make it clear that what that girl did was wrong? Wasn't she liable to prosecution??

16. true that.
his pretend victimhood serves only to escalate the already overly violent trend.

18. we're talking about Eric ****ing Cantor?
does it matter what the truth of the matter is? it sure as hell isn't what he is promoting...
one wonders why the 'shot' wasn't fired right away, as in the other matters of vandalism...or not...
if someone, anyone, took a shot at Eric Cantor I would imagine he would truly find it within himself to re-assess his situation....not have a ****ing press conference...
In other words..."Learn your lesson"
If this had been a dem they would be demanding all guns be confiscated immediately.

They are twisting into pretzels to try to justify or deny.

And if they heard that voicemail left for another Republican Congresscritter, they'd probably claim it was Michael Steele himself making that call.

They will find out who it was, we will hear who it is because we watch and read other news besides ABC/NBC/CBS/NPR/MSNBC/CNN. DU will pretend to never hear who is was and the MSM wont report it. Just like that census worker in KY who committed suicide, it moved off the front page/nightly news as soon as they figured out it wasn't some Republican from Deliverance. Or that guy who flew his plane into the IRS building, as soon as it became overwhelmingly obvious that he was one of theirs, it dropped of their radar.

I guess we get to see the true face of DU again...anti-semitics.

Or Dr. Amy Bishop, who was outed as a rabid Obama supporter, then poof! She was gone from public view.

Oh, Lynne. You really should stop pretending to have orginal thoughts and attribute them accordingly. Jed at dailykos might have appreciated a nod or something. However, I am impressed with the speed you ran over to DU to post it.

Cantor not targeted: Richmond PD says bullet fired randomly
by Jed Lewison
Thu Mar 25, 2010 at 06:40:51 PM PDT
Eric Cantor, the second-ranking House Republican, claimed earlier today that his office had been the target of a politically motivated shooting.
If you thought Cantor's claim seemed reminiscent of the the bogus "an Obama supporter carved a backwards 'B' into my face" story from the 2008 campaign, you were right.

Guess he wasn't too concerned about living without Delta Dental back in the day.
Sad to think that were he alive, he'd be pushing 70 years old.
