Here is a real time strategy game called Shattered Union. It is about America falling into chaos and erupting into a second Civil War. Could this be America's future? As much as no one wants it, I think it could be a possibility.
The American Civil War of 1861-1865 killed 620,000 to 700,000 people or about 2% percent of the population, which was around 35,000,000 in 1865. Most of the Civil War death was from disease. If another Civil War happened today, the death toll could be around 6 million. It could be much higher, in the neighbor of 10 to 30 million dead and many displaced.
