Republicans and guns

Edited on Wed Mar-24-10 02:40 PM by whatsthebuzz
Note: I am not anti-gun at all. Everyone has the right to legally posses a gun if they wish, as per the law. I own no guns.

What is up with all the Republicans suddenly buying guns or bragging about their guns? This might be just my area (Central FL) but most in my county are talking of buying guns or saying they're glad that they have their guns. This happened right after the HCR vote. Some of these people are seriously friends of mine from childhood. Some are talking about how they want to be armed because HCR passed. Some on Facebook have even posted pictures of their many assault rifles.

What in the hell?

Where have you been?  The gun buying frenzy started after Lord Zero's coronation.  It wasn't only conservatives, but everyone that vales the Second Amendment.  Lord Zero was selected the top gun salesman last year.

A very small fire.

I've got mine because, like Hitler, Stalin, and every other leftist dictator, Obama is going to need a scapegoat when his policies fail and our economy is near collapse. For all I know, heterosexual white Christian males are going to be the new Jews.

We might be the "New Jews" but I have this feeling that the real ones are not going to get a pass this time around either.

We need to worry about them. They don't have the mental capacity to own firearms.

31. I got chased down in the dark by a crazed white doode from Forsyth County.
Edited on Wed Mar-24-10 12:43 AM by xultar
No hypothetical here...

Now I got Palin shouting Reload.

I did a lot of thinking Friday night waiting for the cops to come, and I saw that guy come back.
Luckily I don't frighten easily and I got back with that guy and I ended up chasing him just long enough to get his tag.

So excuse me if I ditch your hypothetical and add a dash of reality with a bit of the news to the recipe on how I came to my decision.

I'm a single black woman living near forsyth County ga who drives a high in car and I live alone and was just chased by some crazy white dude and well their idols are screaming for armed resistance and reloading.

I'd be plain stupid not to.

High end car?

I had to read it out loud to understand.  But I'm not sure if that's what she means.

If so, does she think we are going to car jack her?  I'm worried about people trying to car jack my "lo in car"

It's entirely possible the xultar primitive is trying to pose as a black.

In fact, more likely than not.

you want to shoot palin, white-ie, and the conservatives, if they go into the 'hood? Isn't this why these people don't like to go to the hood in the first place?

Come on over to Denison. I know of a GOOD gun shop here. They sell the right types of guns. Then there's also Gander Mountain and Academy. We have those in Sherman. You could always go to Cabela's, but they seem to overcharge on some of their weapons.

SOME???  My last X-Mas with Dad, he took me to the Cabela's in Glendale.  We saw a Browning .22 rifle, the same one as I used as a kid, that he still had (now his wife's) that was on sale for $700.  $700!!!

Cabela's is WAY overpriced. I remember going to the one in Rogers, MN when I was up there. Two weapons I looked at were an H&K USP  and an M-1 Garand. The Garand was in pretty crappy condition and they wanted almost $1000.00 for it. The H&K was in similar poor condition and they wanted $600 for it. I just shook my head in amazement at their ridiculous prices.

Geez....there is a Cabella's in Rogers, MN?  Last time I was there (admittedly a while), Rogers was two dozen houses, a gas station, and an implement/auto dealership.......

You'd be amazed at the growth of the Twin Cities if you were to travel there nowadays. Rogers is still relatively small, but is growing leaps and bounds.
