I think most of us here enjoy music from the days when rock was alive and well so who are your favorite bands from that glorious era?
My list,
Boston
The Who
Genesis
Ac/Dc
-
KISS :-)
-
Supertramp (or was that the 80s?)
Are the rules they came into existence in the 70s? Almost all the artists of the 60s were still playing in the 70s. In fact, many of the songs we associate as being 60s were recorded in the 70s.

I'm thinking of bands that were big in the 70's some of them are still playing gigs from time to time.

Well, I was born in '75, But my sisters were born in '63 and '65. So I still grew up to '70's music. I grew up with a sister who worshiped KISS, so they have to go up there. I still rock AC/DC and Skynard. No self respecting southerner don't like Skynard, they still sell out Wild Adventures in Valdosta every year. That is the only reason I haven't seen them. Led Zepplin was alright, but not great to me.
