Come November, the Democrat super-majority will be nothing more than a memory.

I hope you are right.

They've ignored the will of the people. They've spat in our faces and acted like a ruling class. We're going to take a guillotine to their political careers. I can't begin to count how many people I've heard saying that they will never vote for another Democrat ever again.

Just saw Obama on Fox, from a clip last night after the bill passed.......he said it just goes to show that we still have a government of the people, for the people and by the people.
When over 50% OF the people did not want this....I don't see this mess the same way as Obama.
As far as I'm concerned this was a perfect example of a government that doesn't give a rat's patoot what the people want.... :censored:

Problem is Nov is an eternity away politically speaking. This time of year in 1992 Bush had 90% approval or so and we all know who won in Nov. :banghead:

A government for the Washington elite by the Washington elite is more accurate.

Well, my question--and this is sure to end up in the Fight Club--to the purists, the 100%ers, what does one make of this?
How much good did conservative Democrats do the conservative cause?
And how about them Republicans--conservative, moderate, and liberal--who hung tight, refusing to endorse this monstrosity?
Who helped the conservative cause more?--conservative Democrats, or liberal Republicans?
How do you like them apples?
(I'm having a Clare Boothe Luce moment.)
Think about it.
From a couple of months ago, in the Senate:
Senator Ben Nelson, conservative D, and Senator Olympia Snowe, liberal R.
Which one helped the conservative cause more?

On this point you are right Frank. However if the usual suspects had voted for this unconstitutional POS then it would be different. I will give them credit this time but, next time if they vote with Obama, Pelosi etc I will hammer them worse than any of the dems. This is just the beginning Pelosi has said there is more to come.
I will also go as far to say that this is the republicans fault. How so you may ask?
They lost their way giving us democratic control. The only reason the dems have control is the GOP had distanced themselves so far from the party of Reagan that no one could recognize them anymore.

"The America of today is a laboratory example if what can happen to democracies, what has eventually happened to all perfect democracies throughout history. A perfect democracy, a 'warm body' democracy in which every adult may vote and all votes count equally, has no internal feedback for self-correction. It depends solely on the wisdom and self-restaint of citizens... which is opposed by the folly and lack of self-restraint of other citizens. What is supposed to happen in a democracy is that each soveriegn citizen will always vote in public interest for the safety and welfare of all. But what does happen is that he votes his own self-interest as he sees it... which for the majority translates as 'Bread and Circuses'.
Bread and Circuses is the cancer of democracy, the fatal disease for which there is no cure. Democracy often works beautifully at first. But once the state extends the franchise to every warm body, be he producer or parasite, that day marks the beginning of the end of the state. For when the plebs discover that they can vote themselves bread and circuses without limit and that the productive members of the body politic cannot stop them, they will do so, until the state bleeds to death, or in it's weakened condition the state succums to an invader - the barbarians enter Rome." - Heinlein
Boy did he ever get it right!!!

I hope you're right but I really expect that around September or October, the dems will start passing out money in the form of "stimulus" for their votes.
