In this thread, a noob mole tries to gin up some DUmp cred by insulting some towns favored by normal people. It caught my attention because I have personal knowledge of a couple of the places these DUmmies envy:

The "Bad Places to Live" thread...
unfortunately I've lived in some pretty deep-red areas in my life. Some pretty funny.
And visited some, too...
PLANO, TX
Omg, if you've never been there imagine Stepford Wives meets Church Night...
Funniest place ever. I was there with a friend who was looking for a house to buy (landed cushy job at DELL) and we checked out this house in PLANO and OMG the walls were plastered with crosses and there was a Bible on a marble table next to the front door.
And ironically the neighbor had a dog on a chain in the back yard... yeah nice neighborhood.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ
Rich, right, white and fake as they come... Mercedes, BMW, Ferrari and breast implants, lol...
BRENTWOOD, TN
I was chased by police once because I was delivering Holiday hams for my boss and my old Toyota pick-up looked "out of place" in the neighborhoods I was driving in... funny place, the cop looked out of Central Casting from "Deliverance"...
What are the scariest REICH-WING holier than THOU places to live in your opinions??

Interesting that the noob chose to slander the town of Brentwood. Brentwood is a small enclave of decency and civilization that prospers just south of Nashville/Davidson County/Metro, which is a hellhole with the exception of a few little islands of safety. A Toyota pickup truck would be suspicious in Brentwood only if plastered with the usual lineup of DUmmy bumper stickers. Democrats exist in Brentwood, but are very rare and quiet.

2. Topeka Kansas
Took less than 24 hours to hear about a job away from Topeka, quickly arrange and interview and accept the job. There was never any doubts about leaving Topeka.
Well, both P2b and the Top DUmmy of 2009 live in Kansas, so that's enough to put it on my list of questionable states.

I can imagine. Women in full length homemade dresses, buttoned to the collar... staring at you. Lol... Straight outta 1965?
Please, please, DUmmy greencharlie, you're waaaay overplaying it.

5. Canton, OH
I grew up near there and got the hell out as soon as I was able. People there bback in the 80's believed that the bar codes they put on store items were the "mark of the beast"
Well, I lived for a long time in Stark County, the county seat of which is Canton, and you could not wish for a better place to raise a family, provided you avoid Canton itself. Lots of Amish, lots of decent and civilized people in the townships outside of Canton. A moonbat would be a real oddball, but I suspect DUmmy MikeE is another noob mole on this thread.

10. The fact they believed that is even more scary than what they feared! Now I
see why some of these really strange people in congress get voted in from many states.

6. while living in New Orleans, I was driving through rural Louisiana and saw a David Duke billboard
I rolled up the windows, locked the doors, and got out of that area fast.

11. hey Nightwatcher - my wife and I
are headed to the Jazz Festival next month. First time.
Any advice? We will be there 4 days staying just on the outskirts of the Fr Quarter.
Restaurants not to miss (we are both f*****s and w****s). Festival advice?
I think it's more appropriate to refer to people with a ferocious thirst for wine as "winos", not (shudder) "w****s".

16. oh... I fixed the profile... thx.
I live in the San Fernando Valley in SOCali... it's OK... no complaints. Good people pretty much, good night life. It's cool.
So he prefers Coliformia!!
On the off chance that the OP is the new mole of someone here, a word to the wise: In bolstering your post count and DUmp cred, you should avoid GD, and try to be a little more subtle. Your DUmp lifespan will be much longer. Don't forget the DUmp has a whole cadre that does nothing but sniff for moles and alert mods.

greencharlie got spanked
Democratic Underground has a policy discouraging regional bias. Regardless of the intent here, we want to take this opportunity to remind folks about the policy before we go any further along this line.
Thanks all.

As to Mrs. Dawson and P2B residing in Kansas, Scott Roeder is from there also. He canceled out one lib. Given more time, who knows.

One thing for sure, if I were to marry one of those "full length homemade dressed" women, then slept with her, unlike you and the hermaphrodite animal you interbreed with, I would NOT catch every cock-rotting STD the good Lord laid upon the liberal gutter trash in this world.
Shouldn't you be advocating teaching six year-olds how to field dress a cucumber with a condom in the dark with one hand rather than posting your tripe at the DUmp?

Oh ummm...linky?

Speaking of a Kansas DUmmy, she's been looking in.
She changed her picture on Facebook after reading a thread here and is now sporting a fake picture of some other woman.
HEY GIRL !!!

My half sister lives in Cuyahoga Falls in the Akron Canton area....she and everyone I met up there...were raging liberals....several drive BMW's, live in expensive homes, and have well-paying jobs.
They also couldn't understand how she could be related to **gasp** a Republican.... ::)

Cuyahoga Falls is practically part of urban Akron. Not at all a nice area any more, though it was in the sixties. You have to go a little farther north, to the Hudson/Aurora area, or at least to Stow. Or south, or east, or west. The Falls is also contaminated by its proximity to Kent State.

I do not want to imagine the Dystopian-post Apocolyptic world the DUmmie would call "decent"

In certain isolated spots, yes. Generalize much, DUmmies? FWIW, the area of Scottsdale where my father lived was pretty blue-collar. The generalization is the same with Orange County. Sure, there are parts that are straight out of that shithole show "Real Wives of..." but the majority of the OC isn't exactly glitz and glamor, as BEG will attest to.

I'd take a girl with breast implants and a Ferrari as long as she let me drive her car.

The Daily Caller website has a list of the best places to live. Of course, these are for conservative values and families.
-
I haven't seen one DUmmy in my neighborhood. Although the Obama loving family across the street come close. They're clean and neat so I don't care.
Thank you Jesus ! :-)

Hard to believe it's not a nice area where she lives. The houses, are older, quite charming, large lots, IG pools in the backyards. People walk the sidewalks. children play in the yards.
If that's considered "not a nice area"....you need to come visit the south...

Sorry, I misspoke. I only meant that the Falls was pretty much built out around the early 70s or so. The newer developments, which for the most part are somewhat more upscale, are outside the Falls to the north, west, and east. The Falls' location, smack up against the north side of Akron, is a liability. I haven't visited the Falls in over ten years, but at that time, there were still many attractive neighborhoods there. For my money, NE Ohio in general is a great place to live.
Believe me, I know what you mean, though scuzzy living conditions sure aren't confined to the South. I'm in the South, and less than 20 miles from here, I've seen homes where the doors stand open in warm weather, with chickens strolling in and out. But a couple of weeks ago, I happened to travel through part of the south side of Chicago. If I had to be an obamaite, I think I'd prefer the houses with the chickens.
