Teach Your Children Well Updated at 7:50 PM
My four-year-old grandson was listening to a conversation between me and his mother, and he asked me, "Papa, what is a war criminal?"
I told him that "war criminals" are people like our president, our senators, and our congressmen, who command and support sending the children of the poor to fight for the interests of the rich, and who, in the process, kill hundreds and thousands of innocent civilians because it is in our national interest to do so.
Of course, this answer led to a short and age-appropriate lesson in civics, and I guarantee that most of it went over his head. But that is what this boy is going to grow up hearing if this nation continues on its current path.
In a nation where the principle author of the Declaration of Independence has been banished from the curriculum in some places; where people ignore the deaths of innocents; where children are homeless so that a system where the few live parasitically off of the many can flourish; where corrupt political and business interests are so confident that they no longer even conceal their corruption...
What other lesson could be truthfully taught?

5. We're locking this.
Broad brush, inflammatory comment / accusation; goes beyond constructive criticism.

Thanks all.
That was quick. Should've stuck to "Bush sucks."
The Management is getting tired of the Obamessiah getting bashed, I guess.

1. Your grandson is most fortunate... Updated at 1:31 AM
To have such a grandparent as yourself...
Priceless.
He will grow up knowing the truth, and knowing how to find it.

Big mistake. If he'd said "people like Dubya, Republican senators, and Republican congressmen", it would still be up.

who command and support sending the children of the poor to fight for the interests of the rich
Guess he didn't get the memo...
U.S. military service disproportionately attracts enlisted personnel and officers who do not come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Members of the all-volunteer military are sigÂnificantly more likely to come from high-income neighborhoods than from low-income neighborhoods. Only 11 percent of enlisted recruits in 2007 came from the poorest one-fifth (quintile) of neighborhoods, while 25 perÂcent came from the wealthiest quintile. These trends are even more pronounced in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) proÂgram, in which 40 percent of enrollees come from the wealthiest neighborhoods-a number that has increased substantially over the past four years.

What a ****ed up Grandpa he is.
-
Maybe the CalPiggy primitive will write a poem about this tale of moonbat grandfather and grandchild. We can only hope.
.
-
I wonder if his own children are equally stupid. Maybe he's one of those grandpas that grow and sell dope like the fly on the wall DUmmy.
-
It didn't even bounce. ZERO on the bouncy scale, and negative bongs.
-
His bouncy is a no bounce but a thud. No and I repeat no 4 year old will have any concept of war. Goldstein1984 gets no cred.
-
My grandpas taught me how to fish, tend a vegetable garden, shingle a roof, stuff like that, and through their example, how to live an upstanding life.
Dummy grandpas teach their grandchildren how to hate America.
My, how far we've come.

I wonder what kind of nightmares that kid is having tonight.

This is a "War Criminal"
Someone with two college degrees who felt the calling to put on a uniform and defend his Nation. It's called a fanatical love of Country.

Kid: "What about all of the other countries? Do they have war criminals too?
Idiot: "No, son. Only the US has war criminals. And Israel.
Kid: "What about Iraq, who invaded Kuwait, or the Palestinians who continually launch rockets Israel, or the Naz-
Idiot: "NO! Only the US and Israel!" (goes into long, loud tirade about how the US is the source of all evil in the world today, then veers into wild Zionist conspiracy theories until finally he puts on his Johnny Bravo hair shaped tin hat and runs into the basement for the rest of the week.
Kid: Staring out, looking dumbfounded...
Mother: And that is why doing drugs is a very bad idea.

He could have actually explained this in a politically neutral way, devoid of contemporary issues that will be meaningless before the child even gets to middle school, telling the child that even in war, infliciting more pain or harm than is strictly necessary is wrong and against the law, and then explaining the principle of proportionality in terms a four-year-old would understand, and telling him mercy to the fallen solves more problems than simply taking revenge against them as a group.
But no, he had to **** over his grandkid's brain with garbage, which will make no sense at all when the poor little guy gets old enough to start understanding the larger context of society. What a shitstain. What a disgusting, brain-maggot-infested shitstain.

I bought my 4 year old grandson a magnifying glass to show him how bugs look magnified.
I'm a bad grandma.
WTH is wrong with those people ?

Did you teach him how to focus sunlight on the bugs? :evillaugh:

If she didn't, some other four-year-old will!
:lmao:
-
Yes I did. Not leaves. We don't want a far. :-)

My soon-to-be 4 yr old grandson would only be interested if it involved Sonic the Hedgehog. This is a pancake bouncy.

What kills me is he said he explained it in an "age-appropriate" way, then in the next breath says that he knows most of it went right over the kid's head :thatsright: The whole point of "age appropriate" is that it is explained at a level that won't go over their heads.

Just guessing, but this man prolly never reas Sun Tzu :thatsright:  :rotf: or, fot that matter, the Geviva Conventions. :censored:

Or served in the military, especially in ground combat forces, but then as a DUmmie that does kind of go without saying.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Last time my 4 year old grandson was here he was more interested in kicking the turkey we just shot and looking at its cool guts. Jesse Ray kicking the turkey (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1485234&l=523280b00a&id=1038742310)

That's a country song title if ever I done heard one.

War Criminal: Any person that can't sell watermelons to save his life.

What other lesson could be truthfully taught?
You mean besides the fact your a flaming idiot?
You have the perfect opportunity to point out the atrocities of despots like Pol Pot, Hitler, Tojo, Stalin, Idi Amien and a whole slew of others who truly define the term War Criminal...and instead you use the opportunity to bash your own country and attempt to brainwash your precious grandchild with crap.
You sir have the intellect of a marshmellow.

That poor turkey. Lurking DUmmies will weep, scream, cry, vomit, and sigh. Season here starts April 3, but they'll already answer a call.

I hate the stupid things, more than dummies, even. They have no boundaries and are constantly eating my chicken food. You'd think shooting their asses would keep them from coming around but like your average DUmmie they're just too stupid to know when to quit. I even tried getting some domestic turkeys in the hopes that they'd keep the wild ones at bay. The damn things went and mated with the wild ones...so I shot them too!
