4. Or offer to take her off our citizenship rolls!!
What a dumbf*** ::)
Just a small bonfire. I brought it over to point this out: If they knew how to do research as well as your average household flea, they would find out that until the age of 6, Little Sarah lived in a very remote town, Skagway, Alaska, with the nearest larger town being Whitehorse, Canada. Her parents would take her to a doctor in that Canadian town, as that was the only option, if say, someone broke a leg. Evil, evil, little child!!!!!

The self-proclaimed mostest giftedest and talentedest sure are a stupid lot.

Morons. Proud Morons.

And, not being a DUmmie, I'm sure that her father paid the bill in cash on the way out the door.
Sorry, DUmmies. It's not the same as a Canadian governor flying his ass all the way to Miami for a heart procedure.

I love the way Sarah Palin plays them like a fiddle. Canada's healthcare wasn't socialized at the time. :lmao:
-
Probably was.she was born in 64, canadas healthcare (nationally) started in 66

Was in Canada in the early 70's on vacation whem my son needed med attention, went to hosp. emergency room. There was NO ONE there, but it still took 30 min. to get am MD., who was quite skilled and son David got good care (once it arrived). We offered to pay cash on the spot. The Hosp. refused, and said they'd send a bill.
Following morning we set sail for the USA and our peditrician, vacation cancelled.
At home we got the kind of care we'ere all used to here. Far superior to the Canadian, which was required as David had a bad reaction to the drug used there. One the FDA refused to approve for pediactric care....
Six months later, the bill, $6.00, arrived. We paid, but the thought was there, this ain't gonna work long term , billing and care lax as it was.
It'd be FAR FAR FAR worse here.
Sarah's 47 I think, so 41 years ago was 1969....
It'd

I believe Canada instituted their national health care plan many years after young Sarah got treatment.
-
The Yukon didn't get "national" healthcare until 1972

Just checked, single payor began in 1984.....and was ruled improper in 2005 for delays , some totaled more than 65 weeks between seeing the Primary care physician and getting the operation.

I thought it was 1972. Someone at FR said it wasn't fully nationalized until then.

They're STILL going crazy over there! Only, it's not anything interesting or funny or anything to bring over. It's just one post after another going "hypocrite!" "hipocryte!!" "hipakritt!!!!"

I love how every little thing future President Palin does sets them off. Reminds me of the Bush years. Good times.:)

Sarah terrifies the left. She is good looking, speaks plainly and understandably, does not stutter uncontrolably without a teleprompter, makes sense , is personally courageous, unafraid of criticism, and is unapologetically hetero.. Furthermore she's more competent that either Obama or Biden......combined! Saddly, less of a compliment that you might think....sigh....!
A LWN's worst nightmare indeed~!!

I think she terrifies many of the spend thrift Repubs (Rockefeller RINO's) also.

agree!

Palin: "When I was six, my family took me to Canada for socialized health care."
DUmmy: "But you now oppose socialized health care in the U.S."
Palin: "Yes."
DUmmy: "HYPOCRITE!!!!"

If I am correct that SCOC ruling covered only Quebec
Chaoulli v Quebec
Canadian healthcare went national in 1966
-
I am unsure if they have the same heirachy of judicial rulings as we have. It may be the same, it may apply to all 30,000,000 Canadians...but they have the same "reverence" for prior decisiohns, and the delays are "universal" in CANADIAN medical care.
