About to be Homeless Person Just Knocked At The Door.... It is tough out there.

Asking to do any kind of work to raise part or all of $60.00 he needs to pay his room rent by tonight or he is out on the street --and we are looking at subfreezing temps and snow tomorrow.

I don't know if his story is true, but he is not the first person to knock at our door with a similar story.

Look under the bridges and on ramp interchanges and you have a good chance of spotting the homeless.

The agencies trying to help the homeless here are low on food and beds.

I just wonder .... do you think that some of our million dollar bonus baby CEOs on Wall Street give a hoot about these people?

Where do these people live to have homeless people just coming up asking for money, food or whatever ?  Do they just happen to pick a moonbat house or apartment ?  DUmb luck ?  This has never happened at any house we've lived in.  Just sayin'.

1. Man, I wish he'd stop my my place. There's still some tough
snow removal chores I need to get done. I could use some help, and I think there's a $20 in my wallet.

Lying old fart.

2. Have to give him credit... he is trying to 'earn' $$ he needs to escape being homeless...

Which you would think would warm the hearts of Republicans, right?

If I had to guess they would classify him as 'self employed' and not worthy of government benefits.

How do you know he's NOT a Republican ?  You don't.  Maybe he just suckered you for booze money.  You still don't know. Did you help him since you knew so much ? No, because you made it up.

0 bongs and a bing on the forehead for writing lies.   :hammer:

I don't get the DUmmy's point with this bouncy tale. His imaginary wino is panhandlng for money he claims he needs to pay room rent, so the DUmmy makes some disparaging remark about Republicans. If a wino is suffering in this awful Oconomy, what is the DUmmy's suggestion? Should winos get automatic payouts from the jug-eared Kenyan's stash? Should anyone be working to support themselves, or should we all lounge around all day like DUmmies and get a dole from the Kenyan's stash? I'm all confused about what the DUmmy thinks the imaginary wino should do, and what he thinks decent and civilized people should do. I thought we were all going to get free gasoline beginning January 20, 2009, but I've had to pay for every drop I've burned.

I notice this DUmmie doesn't mention what help he gave this poor "about to be homeless person." So he didn't give jack$hit to this fellow 'rat and now he feels bad and is looking for some support and validation from his buddies at DU.

Hey DUmmie, give the guy a 20.

Hey DUmmie, give the guy a 20.

No, no.

The primitive expects you and I to do that, as if we don't already do that.

The primitive's money is his own money, after all, and he doesn't want to share.

Seriously, what kind of neighborhood would you have to live in to get repeated visits from homeless people? That's just scary.

Isn't this a recurring pattern?  Who was it who wanted old world craftsmanship for illegal alien wages?  Frank knows.

The hypochondrial primitive, the "mopinko" primitive, who's had every affliction known in the history of mankind, including some that haven't been discovered yet.

Undoubtedly, she's even had hemophilia and prostrate cancer.

Wow. Government spends far more money than any CEO. Why not disparage the Fannie-Freddie Million dollar bonuses? Why should public servants be raking in quarter million dollar salaries and not adding a thing to the economy?

You wish it was only a 1/4 mil! Hell the last guy that left Fannie, walked away with 8 mil!

Ya need to google what has gone on in those Gubmint controlled mortgage institutions!

It will blow your mind how many millionaires they have created just by sittin' on the board! Here's a clue, they were all DemonRats! Most were on the Clintoon payroll!

Jamie Gorelick, after erecting the wall between law enforcement agencies, is the one I would like to waterboard!

My mother told me that during the Great Depression, hobos used to come to the door looking for work in return for a hot meal. My grandfather would put them to work in the yard or whatever, and they would eat dinner with the family. The thing is, after the first one came to the door, they all seemed to know that this house was the one to go to. My mother suspected that there was some kind of secret hobo mark out on the curb or something.

Yeah, there was a secret mark, but usually it was on a fence-post.

There were marks indicating "don't even think about it," "good for grub, "good for grub but have to work for it," and so on.

It's in the history books.

There's even illustrations of the code in various books.

When my dad was little the whole family would pick cotton. I assume he was talking about the last years before Pearl Harbor but even after that they did this kind of work.

Around here when people knock on your door at random asking for work they are usually scoping out places to rob.

And not to mention no health benefits either. I thought DUmmies wanted a living wage with complete bennies.

I remember reading about them. They had quite the code. There were a couple dozen or more symbols IIRC. They tried to make it look like kids had done it so no one would mess with their markings.

ETA: Lookie what I found :-)

That is very interesting Frank. Do you think there were regional variations on this?
